Disassociation disorder?

    Does anyone feel completely disconnected from the world? Feels kind of like living in the "sunken place" from the movie get out. People tell jokes and I just stare blankly. I'm just not present in the moment. I have suffered a fair bit of trauma and am trying to figure out whether it is trauma related or Porn abuse related. What are others experiences with this?

    I get the same feelings. It's like you in a different dimension to only observe. It's both terrifying and amazing what the brain can make you perceive. It has decreased as my nofap days increase.

    It is exactly like you two have described being in a different dimension or having a glass wall between you and the world. Literally hits the nail on the head.

    Yep,

    As my wife stated I would go into myself. It got really bad after a couple years where I lost my sister and mother back to back and then dove into work and booze and P to kill the pain. I think if I can make it to 180 days I'll be in decent shape. I just read Terry Crew's account of his addiction and everything he saids is true.
