Do all men who masturbate experience hairloss?

Discussion in 'Compulsive Sexual Behavior' started by Angryme, Nov 12, 2020.

  1. Do All? I don't know.
But PMO can be one of the reasons, it increases testosterone levels that stimulates the production of sebum, makes skin more oily which is the result of overproduction of sebaceous glands, more oily skin means more dandruff and more scratching.
This will eventually injure hair follicles.

  2. Actually I feel like I am very hairy because of pmo.

  3. Hairloss is genetic and nothing to do with masterbating, that's bullshit spread by Christian radicals.

  4. Nonsense.

People who have oily skin already have it by nature, dandruff is almost always because of poor hygiene and yeast infection.

  5. is that the reason men develop dandruff more frequently than women? lol
also i know dandruff can develop at any age but why it mostly started around puberty, kids give more attention to hygiene, eh?
yes totally agree with that but you will be surprised if i tell you the main diet of these yeasts are mainly hair oil.

  6. Never had a dandruff issue personally, in school it was always the dirty grubbier kids and "white" people I'm olive skinned, never encountered it and my skin is insanely oily.

It's hygiene and even more importantly diet, dandruff can be reflective of gut health issues a large amount of time (along with mental health and a myriad of other things)

Hairloss is impacted by hormone levels. Hormone levels are impacted by orgasms. Thus, it's not unthinkable that frequent masturbation contributes to hairloss.

  8. it’s bullshit entirely and If it were any shred of truth i would’ve been bald decades ago, you’re either genetically predisposed to it or your not.

the myth of hair loss and baldness is lies pushed by Christian radicals and puritan scumbag

You've said that four times now, maybe cease posting until you have something to add to the conversation.

Your claim is that there is no way there is any connection between masturbation and hairloss and that is not true.
Just because it hasn't been discovered doesn't mean it isn't there.

  14. There are correlations between hair loss and orgasm. Perhaps if you’re genetically predisposed to hair loss, MO would be among the conditions which contribute to hairloss, among others. If you’re not genetically predisposed, you’re free testosterone is not attacking your hair and you’ve nothing to worry about anyway.

  15. d hairloss and that is not true.
Just because it hasn't been discovered doesn't mean it isn't there.[/QUOTE]

Science simply doesn't exist simple fact.

It's a lie pushed by religious radicals and I'll keep saying this over and over again because that's a fact, there is absolutely no science to prove it.

  16. Show me something scientific not anecdotal.

You're going to get bald if you're predisposed - it's irrelevant if you masterbate/have sex daily.

What can definitely make you go bald if you're predisposed is injecting steroids and that can be proven with science.

  17. The reason I repeat myself is because a lot of this shit is hard for most men to deal with especially in this day and age, along with the warped ideas of what "manhood" and "manliness" should be, there's a lot of fucked up confused people on this forum that need help and the last thing they need to nonsense garbage unscientific theories about baldness being linked to masterbating.

I grew up in a society with legal brothels, America is behind the time on sex and it's bizarre attitude towards sex and the shame around it, no surprise so many men have porn addictions and sex problems, society plays a major part.

  18. Ok ill look for the study. Not sure where I had found it. Had to do with the relationship between free testosterone and prolactin levels after orgasm

I'll try once again in case you're actually arguing in good faith which is doubtful at this point.

    You said:
    And then you said:
This is called the motte-and-bailey fallacy. It works like this:
    1. Make a claim you can't prove (e.g. that there is no connection between masturbation and hairloss)
    2. When challenged, present an argument for a different claim that is easier to defend (e.g. that there is no research explicitly linking masturbation to hairloss)
Just because the link has not been found or more precisely nobody even looked for it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist!

My experience: after nearly every PMO binge I wake up to find much more hair on my pillow than usual. I'm not making this up - why would I?

And independently of me, others seem to have noticed that too as you can see.

How could it happen? Well, it's been established that orgasms and sexual stimulation lead to release of various hormones into the bloodstream and that hormones play a key role in male pattern baldness.

Both hairloss and masturbation/orgasm are far from being completely understood; many questions and answers are waiting to be discovered. It's perfectly possible that every jerk-off session adds to the likelihood that some of your hair will fall out, whether you like it or not. That's all.

  20. Perhaps I read science papers and studies ? perhaps I'm scientifically literate far more than I'm leading on.

The science and studies don't support your theory and by your logic sex will make you bald ?

Sounds like you have other issues with your body and I'd HIGHLY recommend getting blood tests and diagnostics, I'll bet my degrees that you have underlying health issues you aren't even aware of.
