    As the topic asked.
The situation is: I don't do PMO and I am not a hardcore mode user. I wish to have sex. But if I fight for a chance to have sex with girls I can't avoid fantasy as flirting her. Do the fantasy hurt as the porn to the brain? I want to solve my ED problem but I don't know should I also avoid fantasy?

I assume I can hold myself to no PMO in the period of challenge.

I think it is best to avoid fantasy as much as possible, for me the more I fantasize the more I set expectations which usually do not get met and then I am hurt and disappointed which in turn make me want to PMO. I guess the first thing you should ask yourself is are these fantasies realistic. Porn is not real sex, they are actors, it is very rare you will find a girl who will fuck like a pornstar. Porn focuses 100% on the physical aspect of sex. Sex is supposed to be a very emotional ordeal, just fucking to have sex IMO is almost as bad as PMO. Again in my opinion if you are fantasizing about sex while you are flirting with the girl I think that is wrong. For me the whole point of this NoFap thing is to get a healthy view on sex and women, to not look at girls as sex objects and fantasize about screwing them everytime I see them. So to answer your question yes I think fantasy is just as harmful as porn. Now don't expect to just be able to instantly stop your fantasies, that is something that will take work, and practice; but getting the PMO out is the first step in that process.

I'm pretty sure there are moments where you didn't use porn to masturbate, and those were the imaginations you were using to bust.

The more you think about it, the more you want to PMO, lol. Those are the fantasies that you could get hard on, but probably can't during intercourse. Try to avoid those fantasies as much as possible hahaha.

I'm in the same boat as you are, I'm trying to combat porn induced ED. Hopefully the time we put in to not PMO fixes the problem.

Also, this is helping me talk to women as a human being, kind of like I would to a guy friend.

It sucks to talk to women just to get in their pants and realize you can't even perform unless you have some pills on you.

The question is not eliminating sexual thoughts, but not seeking out sexual thoughts deliberately. Like for me, I am Catholic, my religion teaches that to seek out or ENTERTAIN these thoughts when they come would be sinful, but not necessarily for the thoughts to pop in your mind even if they are coming like a barrage.

Really what I have found is to objectify things more: Let's face it, sex is for babies. If we didn't have a sex drive no one would go through the trouble of having kids.

And even us guys being attracted by big breasts is because they are more likely to feed a baby well than small ones. So I say to myself "Would I want to have a baby with this woman?" Usually the answer should be "NO." So if there answer is no, then don't fantasize and don't have sex with them.

I get where your coming from but I'm not sure objectifying things is the best way to go about it. Porn has been causing me to objectify women, which is why I am stopping. Whether you are objectifying them in the sense that they are objects for physical pleasure, or objects for us to use procreate; they both are wrong. Sex is not just for babies, thats a very animalistic/barbaric way of looking at it. Sex is something we do with a female we love, it's an emotional experience but with PMO we turn it into a purely physical experience.

What I mean is the PRIMARY purpose is procreation, there are other purposes too, but first and foremost it's for procreation.

Just like eating first and foremost is for nutrition, we can eat good food, enjoy the taste, enjoy food with other people, but it's primarily for nutrition.

Yes. Anything that causes a dopamine reaction i.e fantasy is essentially porn. It's also apparently very important to not release dopamine from things like that during the first ninety days.
