Do i delete my reddit account?

I deleted my last one for the same reasons i am tempted to do it again now, porn addiction leading me to darker and darker corners of nsfw reddit, and me not being able to resist, sometimes for days on end.

Even though ive been trying nofap since january, ive yet to set a decent streak and even if i reach like 5 days, im going to waste most of the intermediate time edging to said nsfw reddit. I'm thankful i found this subreddit and the site, but i don't know if its actually helping me, you know, with it being on reddit.

I also use reddit to follow my favorite football team, get advice and motivation for my studies, and occasionally look something up google isn't helpful with. The memes are all meh. So im not so inclined to actually delete this acccount.

Anyone else struggling/struggled with reddit porn? How are you still here, without letting it hinder your progress?

Delete it all brother. You can still follow your favorite team from their website and YouTube is the 2nd largest search engine behind Google. With nothing but respect and love, I think you’re trying to find excuses to keep P in arms reach… and based on you saying it’s hard to put together a good streak, I think you need to build the discipline and willpower first before you can truly trust yourself to be on that app without peeking (which comes from time and sometimes therapy). You can do this.
