If you got paper and ruler and compass handy we can draw it to get a real perspective.

5.3 / 3.142 = 1.69 inch diameter.

Now the radius is half that so let's just say 0.85 inch (rounded).
21.59 mm so let's just say 21mm for now.

Ok now set the compass to 21mm wide using the ruler.
Place the compass on a point anywhere on the paper and draw around.

Now we can see how 5.3 (ish) looks like to scale.

I always find it hard to visualise circumference, so I find breaking it into the math easier


Oh and if you don't have a compass just cut a piece of string to size. Cover it in powder and put one end on a dot on the paper and pull the other end around, dabbing the string as you go around.
Not as accurate but good diy compass.
