Do I need to set a reboot length at the beginning?

    Is this necessary to do? Like, I want to reboot. OK, good. But I don't know if i can do that in 30 days, or 90 or 180 or whatever. So right now my thinking is get to 30 days and then re-assess. But that also sounds like a slippery slope...ie, it'll be easy for my brain to convince itself that I'm better and can now safely return to jerking off to porn occasionally.

    I guess I need a distinct, stated goal. If this is just open ended and I'm telling myself I may NEVER be allowed to masturbate again, well, that's just not realistic or even natural.

    Yeah but what do I do when I hit that reboot goal? (I'm keeping this distinctly different from my Challenge goal)
    If I hit that reboot goal and my first thought is "Yay I can go jerk off!", should I immediately stop and keep rebooting? Because fuuuuk right now that sure seems like what I'm going to think in 30 or 60 or 90 days...

This site is mostly against porn and not masturbation but masturbation often leads to destructive /unhealthy fantasies and behaviors..not to mention to previous porn clips you've seen and remember and most of all it does usually plant the seeds of temptation to return to again indulging in P(MO)
    but you make the decision yourself..why worry about it right now, why not after you achieve your first goal..whatever number of days thats maybe..like you said you wanted 30, thats good : )

    Yeah unfortunately that's what I meant...seems like my first thought is going to be Yay I can go jerk off now (to porn)!

    But I love one thing you said: why worry about it right now. I guess that's how I am, but you're totally right. There's no advantage to worrying about it right now.
