No.
I think that there are certain things that you better to keep to yourself and this is one of them.

 

My father knows I'm on this forum and he knows I encourage folks on here to stop masturbating and to stop using porn. But I don't know if he knows that I'm here to fight against PMO myself. Either he doesn't know or he knows and prefers to respect my privacy.

My sister knows as well, but it's the same. Nobody else in my personal life is aware of it as far as I know.

 

My answer to that question is do I care what others outside of this think ?answer is NO , I DO THIS FOR ME first and to help out other people on here who are going threw the same crap I went threw .

I have shared it with a couple female friends, both of whom know i watched porn. Both have also been cuddle buddies at times too. I thought it would be good to get a females prospective. In addition to that, they have bith agreed to help me rewire when the time come. At least with the conversation, holding hands, snuggling over a movie and the like. They are very good friends and are supportive. I have not and will not tell my male buddies or anyone else. I feel that having someone i can talk to along with you guys is a good thing.

It’s hard formuggles to get it. I’ve even seen a member who attended an addiction group IRL feet chided b/c he was a “porn Addict.”

 

I told two roommates I was abstaining. One of them knows it's NoFap. They are pretty impressed by my streak. One them met another dude at a party who was on a 55 day streak. That's when I opened up and showed them my counter .

I also told a girl that I was abstaining but I didnt say it was because of porn masturbation addiction and PIED. I told her I think I'm doing sexual transmutation brcausr I think MO is a waste of energy.

Same, nobody knows it. Not because i do not have the courage to talk about it. Its just because its better for yourself to keep a secret.

 

Hell, no. I'm sure my family won't react well for this. I could talk about it to my best friend, but he probably won't care.

 

Pretty much all of my friends know that I do nofap. My close friends or on the journey with me too . Couldn’t tell my family though... that would be awkward.
