Does being a virgin make you a loser?

I think it's the media that seeds that thought 'virgins are losers'. Say for ex, making comedy movies such as '40 yr old virgin' (not that I hate comedies or anything). I am a virgin and I will remain one until I get married.

 

Indeed. It's hard not to think of myself as a loser when I was practically jerking off to internet porn for 10 years straight (give or take). I try not to think of myself in such terms anymore- but it's not like watching porn does anything for you when it comes to attracting women (or men).

What makes these rather strange cases men of 20+ (raises hand except with a prostitute) still virgins is that their mentality is rather odd when it comes to sex. They hold on to this notion that their first time should be this sacred, out of the fairy tales kinda of sex, with their college sweet heart or girls that are simply too hot for them realistically.

To me sex, relationships is getting on the ladder. If we can approach it like jobs, where we know we have to do a few shitty jobs to climb the ladder, this will be a good thing.

It's difficult to approach it like this, as the idea is detaching something which is quite emotional to something as basic as two people sharing an experience, will fuck most guys up. I also noticed these type of guys tend to be highly emotional, and passive when it comes to sex as well.

The endless amounts of high class girls in porn videos and worser still, prostitution, will let these guys fall into this trap. It's difficult to get out of this mentality when it becomes so ingrained.

For example, if I'm honest I can recall countless, literally countless of times, I could have, should have had sex with some of the girls I knew. It makes me mad now because I'm thinking I should have gone for it much much sooner, as the longer you go the worse you become, the more isolated you become and the more, detached you are from real life relationships.

No way bro! I literally wish I could be a virgin again and maybe sex wouldn't be so bland and I'd be in a lasting, healthy relationship. Because, I wouldn't know the first thing about being in healthy intimate/sexual relationships with my addiction. I'm 26 and seen so much sex to the point it's just become a reflex and feels dull and pointless. Besides, save it for the right woman so that the two of you share something special in the confines of the marriage bed.

This something I'm worried about too. Media tends to feed the idea that men who have not had sex are losers. Of course, there's a sexist double standard where women who have had sex are "impure". Honestly, I think that sex is a choice two people make. View it to much as a milestone and you'll start manipulating your partner just to get it.

Look,a men who's a virgin (myself) being a virgin is not end of the world, It's doesn't change the what you are and who went to in your lifetime, sex is important between two people's who are ready for the next step, don't rush it and just let's it happen naturely.

 

My husband and I were both virgins when we got married. He was 29 and I was 27. And we are so happy that that's how we chose life to be because we cannot be happier exploring and learning about ourselves and our bodies together. So no, it makes no one a loser. Perhaps stronger because they can still manage to stick to their values despite the BS society gives them.

IF you thinx you are a loser because of you're virginity you will reflect that low confidence wich results in bad body language lower voice seeking attention wich results in people thinxing "he is a loser".
