Here's what the UK's NHS says about the relevant research: https://www.nhs.uk/news/cancer/frequent-ejaculation-may-decrease-prostate-cancer-risk/

So we don't really know if ejaculation helps prevent prostate cancer.

The research doesn't say these men masturbated of course, only that they had orgasms. It may well be that having lots of good sex and a great relationship makes you more relaxed, healthier and happier and all round less likely to get ill. I have no evidence to say so but am prepared to speculate that a great sex life is a lot better for a man's health than masturbation.

Anyway, my goal here is to have more orgasms before I die, not less. Fucking definitely beats both wanking and cancer.

Its not true ,our ancestors lived 100+ years with no prostate cancer and I believe they practiced NoFap since they had no porn . Prostate cancer can be caused by many things .

  8. I do not have extensive research done on the topic but so far my current inclination is to believe that the time spend in damaging the body has weakened the prostate and repairing is not as easy as building semen is for the body. So like in the above study, similarly the alcholics even though they stopped the active damaging of their brain their system is weakened in that area. In other words long-term weakness. I mean..considering most people they simply do not have a lifestyle that heals their body. Did you know after about 20 hours of fasting the body produces over 2000% human growth hormone? And vegan or vegetarians who have eliminated their nutrient and vitamin deficiencies grow teeth again? Normal people do not get that through their lifestyle...at all, during their whole lives. So long-term weakness is long-term untreated.

For prostate once weakened greatly, then even normal sexual behaviour may be damaging for it. I currently hold a strong belief (not backed by facts or anything) that reboot cannot be done by abstaining from P and M alone. One must practice nofap monkmode/brahmacharya. No partner either. Or better said nofap Godmode. As proper abstience is not sufficient. One will now gather voltage and not slow it down through healthy sexual activity but must also transmute it and help it with better lifestyle. So meditation, workingout, not sitting more than 5 hours in a day even accumulated, not eating worse than animals in the wild and of course incorporating fasting.

Many people live in this world and adopt the subconsciouss belief that they are out of the womb with a score of 10/10 and labelled as 'healthy' baby but do not realise that only means that the first part of the growth of that fetus has been finished succesful. The most important part just beginnings. Heck the body actively grows until mid 20s. Even what is labelled as 'healthy sexual activity' will have it's drawbacks.

You can find studies on pretty much anything causing some kind of cancer if you look hard enough. If you're unlucky enough to get prostate cancer, it won't be from nofap.

  11. No. The story goes prostate cancer or psychosis can happen in unstable individuals who do not practice celibacy properly and for extended period, like many years.
In this case one ends up bottling madly the tension inside like, say, many city christian monks do.
If you practice meditation and do not stagnate physically through your lifestyle so you can transmute the energy one will not experience any problems. It is like blueballs and wetdream in shorter terms of celibacy. After 3 wet dreams in a month one starts to eat from ones semen slowly. And they really happen because of mental fantasy. Blue balls too. Longer term the blue balls and wet dream may transform into psychosis or prostate cancer or something else similar. But we are talking living very unnaturally for many years, living while surpressing a lot for a very long time.

I think this should answer your question: http://www.irishhealth.com/askdoc.html?q=6873&qasect=11

    Prostate cancer - sexual abstinence?
I have a strong family history of prostate cancer. I am interested to know whether ejaculatory frequency is a predisposing condition. I am sexually inactive and have been told that infrequent ejaculation allows secretions to accumulate in the prostate and this predisposes to the malignancy.
Several researchers have suggested that sexual abstinence might be a risk factor for prostate cancer but despite several studies this suggestion has not been borne out by the evidence. Despite its prevalence, we know less about the causation of cancer of the prostate gland than virtually any other cancer that afflicts humans. Genetics play a part in some cases, particularly in the case of prostate cancer developing in younger men. The risk of developing the cancer increases as the number of affected relatives increases. This genetic linkage probably accounts for approximately 10% of cases. The incidence of prostate cancer increases with age and some authorities suggest that the longer a man lives the more likely he is to develop prostate cancer. Several studies have indicated that many men at autopsy have prostate cancer even though they were symptom free in life. Several studies into the herpes virus and other forms of sexually transmitted infection have failed to demonstrate a conclusive linkage between STDs and prostate cancer. A history of multiple sexual partners also appears to have no effect on the development of prostate cancer and interestingly smoking does not appear to have any effect unlike other forms of cancer. Although theories abound there is very little hard evidence regarding the causes of this increasingly common cancer.

  13. Wow. I disagree. What porn in particular does to the brain, especially high speed internet porn, is way beyond the effects of releasing semen. See the Ted Talk "The Great Porn Experiment" by Gary Wilson.
In my own personal experience, the difference between doing p and m and not is huge. However, I am not in the "hard" mode, so I still have sex with my wife. However, the way I have it, while still including semen release, is very different than I used to, because I used to include images of other women, and porn images, while I was making love to her. Now that was because I have been afraid of being too vulnerable, of letting anyone get too close. THAT is the thing that needs to be addressed for porn addiction. Bonding and connection. For a better understanding, watch this:

  14. What? I didn't mention about that. I am not talking here about the psychological effects, just pure vitamins and nutriens, tissue health and overall physical health.

  15. This was the part I am disagreeing with.

    From a website:

    "What causes prostate cancer?
The exact causes of prostate cancer are not known."

I think if you avoid smoking, eat a healthy diet (lots of vegetables, etc.) you will be fine.

Personally, I would say the most likely cause of prostate cancer (and rising rates) is carcinogens in meat and other food products. It comes down to, lead the healthiest life style you can, and don't worry about it.
