No way to be certain, but I'm relatively confident that long-term PMO addiction caused my HPA-D/adrenal fatigue/CFS.

In 3 months I've had a couple short (ie PMO once, and just looked for a couple of minutes but no MO the other time) relapses, but have otherwise continually gotten less interested in PMO, have dramatically fewer cravings, and a stronger ability to deny cravings. The desire to MO to P has been completely gone for about 6 weeks, leaving only an occasional craving to simply view P.

BUT....my physical symptoms have not improved. In fact, my hair is falling out faster and my skin appearing worse. No change in personality, confidence, etc.

I know most of us here have some sort of physical symptoms, be it fatigue, poor skin, hair falling out, etc. Have some of you gone beyond the 60 or 90 days before you started to really see turnaround in your physical symptoms?

  2. I think it depends on the person. For me, my longest streak is 45 days and there has been numerous benefits, such as increased confidence, better social interactions with the opposite sex, and many others. But I would be lying if I said the withdrawals went away. I battled through brain fog and low energy the whole 45 days. I was always irritated and frustrated( this could of been because of the stressful situations I was in - unrelated to nofap). The intensity of the urges leveled off for me around day 14. However, the urges never went away, and I still had bad days in terms of having intense sexual urges. The main benefit I get from going no PMO for a long period of time and really the only real benefit there is( other benefits people mention I believe is just all in their head), in my opinion, is stronger willpower( increased self-control) and discipline. This is why I have seen so much success on nofap. In my opinion, the hair and skin appearances are not due to your PMO addiction but are being caused by some underlying condition. Cheers.

I've lost a bunch of weight in addition to my current nofap streak. Nofap helped me with concentration and confidence and got rid of my PIED. Losing weight got rid of a slew of other problems including eczema, arthritis, and bad body odor.
