Does withdrawal stop if you relapse? Personally I don't think so.

I think with PMO withdrawal you will still experience withdrawal if your brain isn't getting the same level of dopamine it's used to. So if your usually used to binging on PMO all day, every day, then you stop PMO for a while and go through withdrawal, if you simply relapse once on a few images, or even one porn video, I think you could still experience withdrawal even after you have relapsed on this?

Because even though you relapsed on this, your brain still isn't getting any where near the same level of dopamine that it's used to, and this will cause you to still have withdrawal symptoms.

This is personally how I would think it would work.

    It does stop completely.
Same with coffee, when i stopped it for few days i had massive headaches , then few sips of coffee completely stopped it.
    Don't trick yourself.
There is no grey area here . Nofap or pm , there is no middle ground.

  3. Of course, lol, thats why it is so hard not to binge..you want to satisfy yourself completely till you're finished with the behavior again. Thats why binging is very harmful to give into as well. Because after binging you sort of do more damage than just a one time fall, and its harder and takes longer to to get out of your head and system..which can also make your withdrawals tougher..

  4. A worsening of withdrawal symptoms will often develop itself after relapse, especially in people with post acute withdrawal syndrome. This is sometimes called 'kindling.' It involves sensitivity to changes in neurotransmitters. These changes can lead to worsening of anxiety, depression, insomnia, etc.

Coffee is a mild drug though compared to PMO or other drugs.

Look at something like a seriously addictive drug like diazapam. If someone took say something like 40mg of diazapam every day, and they done this for years, and then all of a sudden they began taking 5mg of diazapam a day, the person would seriously notice the difference from this, and they would still experience withdrawal symptoms and feel terrible from this. I feel like withdrawal from heavy PMO addiction could work similar to this.
