So, PMOing screws the Dopamine system, as it easily rewards for doing nothing.

So, I have stopped PMOing for 3, almost 4 days already, but I am still thinking about sex.

Does thinking about sex stimulate dopamine?

Yes, thinking about sex stimulates dopamine.

Just like thinking about food stimulates dopamine.

So, to understand this, for this to work better, I should stop thinking about sex as well.

Well the whole point of a reboot is to try and get your brain back to normal. So that means releasing as little dopamine as possible with the porn/sex part. Although it isn't 100% realistic to not ever think about sex. That's pretty impossible unless you're like a veteraned monk, lol.

Just quitting the porn should be enough. Quitting the imagination and masturbation will be a bonus and will likely give better results/quicker.

I imagine your primary goal might be to avoid thinking about P fantasy to help eliminate a dopamine reward cycle for P. Everything else may depend on your goals. Are you trying to "rewire" for regular sex with a partner? Perhaps it would be fine to think about sex with that partner, then.

As long as when he imagines having sex with a real person, he imagines it the way it should be. A lot of porn addicts think of the girl they like but in a porn type way/scenario. Which is just as bad as watching porn.
