Dreams and flatlines.

    So today I landed on my 30th day of nofap after suffering pied for way too long and losing out on what could’ve been great relationships. I started nofap in July of this year and I have managed to get to 52 day steaks and two 30 days, this is my second nofap at day 30.

    I had an insane flatline after 1 week of my 50 days to the point I felt suicidal which lasted around 3 weeks. Last night I had a dream about an “actress”
    She was just standing there looking like those kind of “actresses” do, I felt so turned on but nothing happened, but I wanted it too! Then in the same night I had a dream about a normal looking girl where we just kissed. Are these sort of dreams normal to be having one after another?

    Also I feel like I am going into another flatline, it’s no where near as severe as the last one but it definitely feels like a flatline. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

    I've found myself having dreams before myself, often before I, regrettably, relapse. I find its as important to stop my mind conjuring up fantasies as it is at stopping myself watching p***.

    I don’t find myself ready to relapse, I think I’ve finally cracked it, the porn urges have hardly been there at all compared to September when they were driving me mad!
    I want to get to 90 days and see where I stand with PIED ( no pun intended) cheers for your reply!

    I’ve had 2 wet dreams so far in my streak (around 65 days). I lost track of the exact days of my streak. But anyways, I completely flatlined on the second day and I felt depressed like you at around the 40th day. Similar to you, I also have no desire whatsoever to watch P and have no sexual thoughts at all. At this point I’ve made it past the emotional flatline, but am still in the sexual flatline. Since you mentioned PIED, I assume you are still sexually flatlined and think you are going into another emotional flatline?

    I'm really not sure what’s going on, mate. I hope not cause the flatline I had when I first started nofap really kicked my arse for around 3 weeks, that flatline hit me like a ton of bricks it was a horrible experience!

    My dick feels like it’s wanting sex but my mind is saying “not yet” I know 90 days isn’t a magic number where I’m definitely going to be “cured” but I’m quite confident that I will be there or thereabouts. The urge to watch porn has pretty much gone, I’m really starting to want real woman instead of in the past where real woman didn’t really interest me and only “actresses” did.
    I feel so much better mentally not wankin to porn apart from these past 2 days where my mood has dipped just a little. Hopefully this will be the last hurdle.

    Similar to you I’ve also noticed a huge mental and emotional improvement, but my sexual system is still completely offline. And I completely agree about the 90 days . For me I’d bet it’s going to take much longer than 90 days to recover sexually. I’ve noticed I have more interest in talking to girls now whereas before I had no interest so that’s a sign of improvement. Anyways, I’d say if you already flatlined then you should be safe from another. I’ve heard of people going through multiple flatlines but I think it’s pretty rare. And usually if they have multiple flatlines they get less and less worse. But yeah hopefully that’s the last hurdle for you!
