I'm on Day 6 of the streak (watch out Ripken). Porn hasn't been that much of a temptation. But other things have. One of the biggest problems I've had the past couple of nights are certain dreams and I'll wake up when I'm…"ready". Then, I'll have issues getting back to sleep (when I know how easy it would be to take care of the problem). I was able to get back to sleep without giving in but it's not easy. Any others have this problem? Tips to combat it? Thanks.

woo.. that is a tough one. I have been struggling with it as well. What time do you go to bed? I find it helpful if I started heading for bed around 9:30-10:30 pm - obviously work schedule permitting. Do you stay up on your computer and stuff? Cause you can download F.lux which dims your monitor to more candle light style eliminating the blue light (the visible light spectrum associated with inhibiting melatonin production). You could also try getting some blue block glasses for 15 bucks so u pop them on 1-2 hours before bed, and it will reset your circadian rhythm. It will allow you to make more melatonin naturally which help you stay in deep sleep longer. It is worth a try. check out this site.. it is worth a read. The article is about how to hack your sleep and the science of sleeping. http://www.bulletproofexec.com/how-to-hack-your-sleep-the-art-and-science-of-sleeping/ Knowledge is power. So, give it a try. It may help you get past the initial hump.
