Dreams: Some Deep Questions

I think we just dream of more stuff. Cos our mind is full with a lot more stuff. That's all. It's kinda like with food; you could make a perfectly fried egg with just three ingredients (an egg, salt and fat for cooking) or make an omelet with 50 ingredients. Both can be tasty. So same for dreams. Doesn't really make them any better or worse.

 

I would say no.
They just have different substance.

Dreams in days past would have been as equally vivid and wild for their time as ours are now.

We dream of things we've seen.
So would they have.

We dream of things we fear.
As would they.

We dream of things we can't explain or have never seen.
So would they.

We may dream of more individual things.
But they would dream of what they knew of.

We don't know everything even with instant communication to the whole world.
They didn't know everything as there was always a further Horizon.

 

Mine are generally abstract and incomprehensible. Especially since I started taking ZMA. I'm more "conscious" in my sleep.

Since starting Nofap, I now have "conscious" dreams without the help of ZMA, but besides the porn dreams, they are still vividly abstract. Nuh, even the porn dreams are incoherent. But, to answer your question, they were probably more or less the same as today. A sort of a universally shared consciousness or something.

 

I don't remember any of my dreams.
I can't remember the last time I had a vivid dream even, it's been years.

 

This is very interesting if you think about it but it's so true .

The real question is, if it's helping us more than it is hurting us ? If I had to answer my own question, I would say "god is in control of everything."
