I've been doing something the last few weeks, that seems to work pretty well.

As soon as a get a thought or porn pop in my head ...... I divert my mind to remembering my Rock Bottom Pain from PMO.

I picture myself laying on there, having just orgasmed with a phone sex dominatrix, and feeling like a complete jerk, pissed off since I know I have just set myself back..

Basically, it seems to remind my brain of the pain of PMO, and diverts it away from the pleasure of arousal.

I've tried diverting my mind to other wholesome things, but sometimes the PMO thoughts are so powerful, I can't hold my mind on my hobbies, or some other innocent thoughts.

But, it seems that if a "scare" my brain by making it think of the pain from PMO.... the arousal fades.

Then, once the arousal has faded.... I flip to positive Autosuggestion, picturing a great life, and say a mantra "Happy and Healthy"

    1. Notice the feeling of arousal, quickly switch mind to the pain of PMO.
    2. Once feeling of arousal fades, switch to thoughts and feeling of health and happiness, and smile during this period.

    Hey feo1966,

I would agree that this is a good tactic. Reality is the place that you have to go back to. Using the reality of your life is a good way to fight the urge. What will PMO get you in the short-term versus the reality of where you went in the long-term.

    Keep Fighting.
