    Hi!
This is the first time I ever tried nofap. I don't know if I felt great, but I wasn't fapping. So, that was amazing.
I usually wake up before 5:20 AM everyday. But, on one particular day, I decided to sleep in. And, I started dreaming about sex. That's when I relapsed, after 26 days of no PMO. My goal is to hit 30 days first. But, this is my longest streak so far. I'm grateful for all thr forums. These helped a lot.
I think that I relapsed because of sleeping in.

    I have a few questions:
    1. Is it normal to have dreams that are related to sex?
    2. Are there any strategies to fight off the Dopamine addiction?
    3. Now that I've relapsed, are there any particular things that I have to keep in mind before I go on the next nofap streak?
    4. If I have to track my progress, what should I track? The first time, I tracked the number of days. But, I feel that just tracking the number of days doesn't give me enougb insight into what's actually going on.
    Thanks for the answers!!

  2. The dreaming of sex and relapsing because of your dream is not a relapse and is a healthy thing. For an addicted person to PMO, he won't be able to sea these dreams anymore, and his morning ejaculation will stop forever until he starts nofap for some period of time.
So according to what i mentioned above if that is what happened to u then u r still going through your streak and that also means you are in a good progress and mornings are so healthy and natural. Keep it up buddy.

Ok. But, I did fap after the wet dream. That's why I feel that I have relapsed.

So, are there any things I should know before I go on a nofap challenge again?

    Thanks for the answers!

the question why i am doing this should be clear to you..............you have to move upwards leaving sex and all these fantasies.........you have to understand that there is "life" also without porn, sex, girls, masturbation and all.......
or lets be easy .........leave only porn and masturbation.........start interacting with real girls..........by just befriending them.....

I have had lots of sex dreams since quitting PMO. This morning while sleeping I had “morning wood” and I have a vague memory of rearranging myself many times and it feeling good. I don’t count this as a relapse because I wasn’t conscious. If when awake I decided to masturbate then I would count that.

when I woke up, I continued to do my daily maintenance stuff to stay sober and I didn’t have any intense cravings because I’ve been been doing my daily maintenance stuff every day for the whole time I’ve been sober.

I would say if your serious about staying off of PMO for good (because it’s ruining your life), you may need to do some daily work (which doesn’t take har long). If you’re just trying to stay away from it as a fun goal, then that’s a different story :)

You can't just take and get rid of dopamine addiction in one day neither are there some overly accurate guides. It should be properly understood as an any other addiction. I'm on the day 39 hard mode, and i can tell that i have it somewhat regulated now. I eat wayy less sweets than i used to, i want to fap less and less. Do proper hard mode without edging and i think the progress will show itself.

Hmmm... I am not attempting any of the challenges because it might be fun. I am pretty serious about it. That's why I'm trying it again.

And, what do you mean by daily maintenance? Can you be more specific?

    Check out my post here
    https://www.nofap.com/forum/index.php?threads/my-current-plan-for-recovery.170857/

It outlines what I’m doing on a daily basis to stay sober. It’s based around the AA 12 steps with a little extra stuff because I also deal with depression and anxiety.

Actually, I do something similar. I journal about my desires, thoughts and beliefs at night (I use a text files for searchability).
    I meditate 10-12 minutes everyday.
I've been showering woth cold water for the last two years. Before Nofap, it was hot water for sometime and then cold. But now, it's direct to the cold part. I do it at least twice a day (10 minutes, morning and night).
I walk a d stretch everyday. And I train for strength (calisthenics and free weights only) 2-3 times a week. And as I said, I wake up as early as possible (except on Sundays).
Check out "Tools of Titans". It's a boom that got me started on all the stuff I mentioned. Also check out Stoicism (for the spirituality part). I recommend Seneca the younger to start with.

    Thanks for the answer!
