    This is something i noticed i used to be doing a LOT, especially after starting nofap - i understood edging (by touching yourself) was off limits and it seems i unconsciously figured out how to cheat the rules.

    I had this very unhealthy habit even before nofap - when i would masturbate i would flex my pelvic muscles (pc/bc - the ones that you use when you ejaculate or when you stop pee) to delay the orgasm and get more erect. I could flex them so hard sometimes my dick looked like it was about to pop. So a 100% erection would become a 130% erection. Honestly i dont kniw how i didnt pop a vein or something.

    So it seems i applied this even when i was not touching myself: both when i wanted to get an erection and when i wanted to keep an erection and enjoy arousal and stimulation.

    I would do this without watching any porn, just using my imagination. I'd get an erection and then "cruise" the erection for dozens of minutes, sometimes hours. I just thought that's how my erections were manifesting but i noticed my pelvic floor and pc/bc muscles were squeezing the base of my penis frantically. So i was, in a way, masturbating internally if that makes sense. I would very often make my penis "jump" or "twitch" with those muscles. It would feel very good. Those muscles were so overtrained and reactive that any time id get an erection, even during sex, they would twitch involuntarily.

    What confirmed to me that i was indeed sexually stimulating myself by squeezing those muscles was that after "cruising" for a couple of hours per day with an erection, i'd get a very uncomfortable feeling of pain/fullness in my prostate, exactly like i used to get when i edged with my hand.

    One more thing that should have been a dead giveaway that such thing is possible (sexual stimulation with your pelvic muscles) was that when i used to be very addicted i could get myself VERY close to actual ejaculation just by flexing those muscles.

    More so, after doing the flex thing i would get feelings i used to get after i relapsed or edged in the classic way - mental fog, mood swings, low mood, irritability, disorientation etc. Not as strong though but still.

    This is not the standard, normal, involuntary erection. It seems like my body even forgot how to get an erection as for the last 15+ years i'd "squeeze" my penis to get one and keep one.     Just recently i noticed how a real, involuntary, erection is and how flexing those muscles is not required. I noticed my pelvic floor relaxing and dropping.

    So i wanted to let you guys know that apparently there are different types of erections and you can stimulate yourself with those pelvic muscles in a very similar fashion to hand stimulation. I wish i would've realized this sooner as this most certainly delayed my recovery.

    Sadly i am very familiar with this. I have not given in to this temptation though as of recently the though crosses my mind that my muscles 'could us a good stretch'.

    In my opinion, this is indeed edging. Where i am today, if i were to attempt this method, i would O for sure, and with very little effort.

    I am satisfied in the sense that i can feel and appreciate the build up of sexual energy since starting NF. I dont want to lose this. It's like i've struck a bottomless well of oil that keeps producing so long as i dont use any of it it. It is a profitable investment that never goes broke unless i take out a withdrawal. My life force is growing, getting stronger every day.

    For how long did you use to do this? As in minutes/day or minutes/session?

    I find it quite troubling i did not realize this is edging until recently.

    I used to do it every day, multiple times throughout the day, whenever the urge crossed my mind to do it. It inevitably led to more advanced methods and finally MO. I know that's where it goes with me. Not safe. Avoid.

    I realized that's what i used to do to "handle" urges... Amazing how the brain tricks us to cheat. I would not MO but i'd exhaust myself edging this way.

    I've done it a few times. I wouldn't call it the most common way I do it but I've done it. I've even ejaculated before just humping my sheets no hands.

    I have never heard of this. I know how to orgasm without ejaculation. Maybe it's similar to that just opposite?

    There are kegels for both men an women. However they should be used only if necessary and only in the right direction.

    Normal kegels have little to no use and are likely detrimental, as you don't used those muscles for erection, just for ejaculation, and unless your aim is to ejaculate for miles, there's not reason to do them.

    Bladder control should not be done by the pelvic floor in the first place, bladder control issues are generally prostate related and the muscle that controls the bladder is even higher than the prostate, that article is sh1t.

    The focus, if anything, should be on reverse kegels to relax the pelvic floor.

    I read somewhere that Kegels are good for erections and Sexual Stamina. Also, will post if I find the link.

    Anytime I flex my pelvic floor muscles it tends to make my erection go down. Interesting that you're able to use it to keep it up? Maybe I honestly don't know what I'm doing,lol.

    No i think you're using it normally and it's supposed to work that way. I seem to be (involuntarily) flexing multiple muscles because my erection used to go to overdrive when i did it.

    Definitely not normal or healthy, especially because i could not ejaculate properly, but it would be extremely forced, like under pressure and my prostate struggling to push semen past the flexed pelvic muscles
     
  16. I know this effect, too, I can get my erections down, but as soon as I release this muscles the erection returns. Not very useful... And I know the opposite effect, that @utrafabber describes, too. I guess different muscles are involved there.

    I couldn´t get even close to an ejaculation. I would rate it depending on the possibilty of getting to an orgasm as edging or not. In my eyes edging is something that if continued leads to an orgasm.

    That's interesting. So you're saying you could not orgasm by humping the sheets? Why do you think that is?

    Hey,
    Few months ago i was able to ejaculate without using hands, i was laying in the bed and squeezed abs for a while and thats it. I practise this few times and then quit, it is semen wasting but it was pretty cool experience to me:=)

    Some wisdom here. If you are younger, can maintain an erection decently (without drugs), and can ejaculate, then doing regular kegals is not necessary. You will be setting yourself up for PE.

    Reverse kegals are good to practice. Can help you last longer during sex, if you become practiced at isolating your pelvic floor muscles.
