This is something i noticed i used to be doing a LOT, especially after starting nofap - i understood edging (by touching yourself) was off limits and it seems i unconsciously figured out how to cheat the rules. I had this very unhealthy habit even before nofap - when i would masturbate i would flex my pelvic muscles (pc/bc - the ones that you use when you ejaculate or when you stop pee) to delay the orgasm and get more erect. I could flex them so hard sometimes my dick looked like it was about to pop. So a 100% erection would become a 130% erection. Honestly i dont kniw how i didnt pop a vein or something. So it seems i applied this even when i was not touching myself: both when i wanted to get an erection and when i wanted to keep an erection and enjoy arousal and stimulation. I would do this without watching any porn, just using my imagination. I'd get an erection and then "cruise" the erection for dozens of minutes, sometimes hours. I just thought that's how my erections were manifesting but i noticed my pelvic floor and pc/bc muscles were squeezing the base of my penis frantically. So i was, in a way, masturbating internally if that makes sense. I would very often make my penis "jump" or "twitch" with those muscles. It would feel very good. Those muscles were so overtrained and reactive that any time id get an erection, even during sex, they would twitch involuntarily. What confirmed to me that i was indeed sexually stimulating myself by squeezing those muscles was that after "cruising" for a couple of hours per day with an erection, i'd get a very uncomfortable feeling of pain/fullness in my prostate, exactly like i used to get when i edged with my hand. One more thing that should have been a dead giveaway that such thing is possible (sexual stimulation with your pelvic muscles) was that when i used to be very addicted i could get myself VERY close to actual ejaculation just by flexing those muscles. More so, after doing the flex thing i would get feelings i used to get after i relapsed or edged in the classic way - mental fog, mood swings, low mood, irritability, disorientation etc. Not as strong though but still. This is not the standard, normal, involuntary erection. It seems like my body even forgot how to get an erection as for the last 15+ years i'd "squeeze" my penis to get one and keep one. I noticed my pelvic floor relaxing and dropping. So i wanted to let you guys know that apparently there are different types of erections and you can stimulate yourself with those pelvic muscles in a very similar fashion to hand stimulation. I wish i would've realized this sooner as this most certainly delayed my recovery.
