ejaculation and cognition

    There are some people doing nofap supported in some studies speaking poorly of pornography related to cognition and stimulation and it seemed to me pseudoscience, although I find other physiological studies connected to testoterone that I could understand.


    I found a ratio of 145.7% increase in testosterone level after 7 days without ejaculation (although it was a study that did not find the total time of completion and there would be more peaks after seven days). Also, these data demonstrate that acute abstinence does not alter the neuroendocrine response to orgasm but produces elevated levels of testosterone in men. However, I did not find any randomized study related to cognition that would be my focus.



    On the other hand, research against pornography says that the brain, over much stimulus like porn, would go into cognitive decline because it can not process as much. But from what I understand, with this basis, the brain would have a threshold at which much stimulation can be positive if there is a subsequent major source recovery over.



    I mean, from what I understand the neural stimulus, it would have something similar with physical training type, you can train a lot if you give the space to recover the muscles. It would even be positive for muscle development and health (about HIIT and its benefits). Would the over-stimulation of porn with adequate rest be positive to develop cognitively?



    So I decided to test the cognitive part a little more rigorously with daily tests, such as a case study. However, I started the tests on the third day, but if NOFAP is so good I suppose I'll still notice the difference. Subsequently, I will test with recovery intervals, but for as long as 3 months without pornography as the initial test. If anyone knows more about physiological and cognitive tests related to abstinence and can send me.

    Experience will teach you really quick, in dramatic fashion, that PMO effects cognition in a very negative way... I just saved you tons of time in research and trial and error.

    It may be that for you to actually function in the case, I use facts because experiences without rigor have deceived me. I wanted to find better searches, but in my I have already lost 4% of cognitive ability.

    How will you counterbalance the expectative bias ( placebo effect)?

    How Will you make a neutral analysis of the data?

    I wanted to have found a randomized study with no bias. It's hard to self-study, but The least worst way I could of studying and having some sign even though small. I do the cognitive tests when I wake up every day.

    SUMMARY

    Starting from the premise that the brain is adaptive and that the basic stimulus of sex reproduction of DNA (information). A 3-month experiment is proposed to try to direct this stimulus of sexual reproduction to reproduce information beyond genetic information and also to an attempt to increase cognitive abilities.

    INTRODUCTION

    For this experiment limits pornography and ejaculation altogether.     20-minute aerobic routine with at most one weekly failure

    Low carb with one day a week to eat povilho products (tapioca and cheese bread, gluten-free)

    Intermittent Fasting (Eat only once a day)

    In case of any change thought that indicates failure of this proposal, or choose to act other than the one described here the participants undertakes to advise and only carry out change after a period of 24 hours.

    10 to 12 hours free time in the week
    besides making valid if there is at least increase 5% of some of these cognitive aspects and there are no further losses in this aspect.

    Today I read the research in wich I fundament the project porntofredata, and to read specifically one research is confusing because seems to be more like random numbers than actually tested. I've looked in more than two pages and didn’t found the complete project. However I imagine that can be possible to redirect my physical stimulation into intelectual. Well, another observation is that I am admiring more my voice when I rec music, but the 2 other people didn’t notice the difference. So, i think about stoping the project and maybe take it more slowly, for example masturbation in 8 an 8 days. And this is the warning of 24 hours before I stop the project.

    I believe that before building a masterpiece we start with smaller piece Iof arts
    I like your way io tryiing to put some numbers on your achievement and benefits.
    Though it is certainly improvable and imperfect it is also a good way to keep concentrated

    The problem is not M or P. The problem is they push me to escalate to always more PMO. So I ask myself if it is a rationalisation that pushes you to reimplement M in your project..

    I read some articles on prostate and about alteration in ejaculation and almost stopped. But I think it's not worth losing 22 days of experience, if I can get less sex and social contact I will be able to produce much more intellectually.
