After 22 years of struggling with pornography and masturbation, I've reached a point of where I don't want to do this anymore. I've struggled with this habit since I was 4 years old and have had many problems over the years (who hasn't right?) but within the last few years I've realized where my crave for pornography came from. I was molested as a child and began masturbating at a very young age. I continued that behavior all the way up to my teen years and stopped for periods of time but ultimately would start again. I lost myself completely to it 6 years ago when I began to act out because of pornography, I dabbled with escorts, was completely unfaithful to the beautiful girl I was with at the time and even began driving escorts around to make money. Alcohol was a coping mechanism with these tendencies and soon drugs were as well. I found god at 25 and have a new zest for life but I still struggle with porn and masturbating, to the point where I won't go to work some days because I just don't get out of bed like I did today. I've came across this site last fall but just passed through and didn't sign up, but I'm back because I've had it. I need to change and fix myself to be able to get to the next step in life. I hope to interact with some awesome people on here. I'm a musician in a band and student an and Hope to meet some cool people with good taste in music along the way.

Welcome to NoFap where you are amongst friends who are here to encourage you and sometimes challenge you but not judge you.

The enemy is here to steal, kill and destroy. What are your current strategies for combating the enemy called PMO?

I would read the word and submerse myself in prayer, but I've been struggling so much lately that I feel weak to the enemy. I listen to scripture but it's been so hard lately to not relapse. I haven't been able to stay away from it for over a week
