    Hello Fapstronauts

I thought I would write out a short message to those of you who come across this thread!

It has come to my attention that a number of people seem to go roughly 20-30 days in PMO abstaining mode and then seem to fall short and give into the temptation only to start over again. And so this cycle repeats and repeats.

This cycle has happened to me way too many times and so I am speaking from experience. It is a cycle which makes you feel worthless. It feels like a simple thing such as not watching porn or not masturbating seems like an impossible task.

So today I want you to look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself what you really want to be in this life? I realized that enough is enough. I once saw a quote which side that: "You are only one decision away from a totally different life" - that decision was to abstain from PMO.

Remember that we are not in a battle with porn, masturbation or the need to feel an orgasm. WE ARE IN A BATTLE WITH OUR MIND. As soon as you can learn to beat your mind. You can succeed in your fight against PMO.

Lots of love and feel free to message me if you need someone to talk to!

    You've nailed the point.

What most people think is that, the more an addict relapses, the more he learns and the better he gets at fending off the urges.

The harsh truth is that the more you relapse, the less you believe in yourself and your commitment to quit. My best streaks are well in the past, and now I struggle to even get 3 days under my belt.

What people don't tell you is that NoFap has the power to free you, but also the power to accelerate your fall into despair, delusion and self-deprecation. It all depends on how seriously you take this.

I have made the mistake of taking it lightly and it has taken its toll on my confidence.

This is exactly what I needed to read right now, as I face and urge to register to an roleplaying website and give myself to masturbation.

    Thank you.

I love this, thank you for sharing it with the community. One decision. In theory, it should be simple, but because we're all "addicts", the application is the hard part. It's like when someone tells you not to think of a pink elephant.
We need more positive outlets, hobbies, etc...to deal with the urge. All I keep thinking about is today, then the next....
Eventually, we'll be past this. Our confidence soaring and our minds and dicks fully "rebooted". I want nothing more than to make love with the girl I'm with, but if I stay on this disgusting road of despair and self-hatred, that dream will stay just that; a dream. Fuck that. We're all stronger than this!! Get angry. Start to associate Fapping with something evil and disgusting, because in reality it is. We've taken it to a different level and now it's just vile. It's ruined our lives, careers, marriages, etc. My thoughts are with all of you, my brothers and sisters. Much love.

Keep working at it. Most people think that simply signing up to nofap will rid them of their addiction. It all starts with your mentality and I hope after reading my thread that your mentality has gotten stronger. If not, then message me and we can chat!

Absolutely! We are blessed to be the ones who have seen this as an addiction and are making drastic efforts in our habits to put an end to it. There are still many people around the world who haven't grasped the idea of it being bad yet...

You said exactly what I am thinking.
This drug has ruined our lives and it is time we say enough and leave it behind.
I do agree with the other posts that in reality this challenge is all a choice.
Some may believe that it is a lot harder than that, and it can be, but really it all comes does to one choice, and if that choice will benefit you.
One way that helps me sway this decision in a positive direction is think "will my future self thank me for this" of just simply "do things that your future self will thank you for" and it helps me push through.
We can all do this guys, we just have to believe in ourselves and always say no, no matter how tempting it seems, because you will always feel better later on if you say no.
    Short-term pleasure vs. long-term pleasure.
    Just think about that
Good luck guys and push on!
