Hi there buddy! I'm here to help. Don't worry if you decided to quit, there's nothing that can stop you. Just leave it behind your back. You don't need it, you can do anything you want. You can achieve anything you dream about.
Just refocus your mind and do the right stuff. And remember, PMO is just not beneficial or positive. Its just stupid, worthless, dangerous addiction.

Good luck on your journey, pal!

It's my 48th day i decided to quit. And its my longest streak at all. I tried to stop many times, but i never really believed it. So i always fail, partly because i really didnt try, partly because i wanted to fail. But one day i just accept that i'll not see porn again in my life and it was really liberating. So here i'm, happy rebooter :)

Yeah, good stuff man. Fuck the past, make to future worth!
My goal is similar to yours. I just don't want to PMO ever again. I want to have good relation ship, built a successful career (and i dont mean to earn more and more money - i want to find the right life-work balance that make me feel good and let me evolve). And in the end i just want to become better person.

    Hi

    1) really the hardest thing was to believe I can do it. I thought im broken, im just dirty kinkster and i can't change.
But i was wrong. When i understand everything was caused only by porn and there's nothing wrong with me personaly it was really easy to shake it of. So i suggest to look for experiences of others here who fight similar issues as you do.
    2) i thought i will have to fight urges all day. But i didn't have to. It turns out that i only have to fight when i face triggers and temptations. It's what you have to get rid off. While you see something that arouse you, look away, think about something else, do something different. Shut down browser, drop the magazine, leave the shop, whatever it takes. I was once in restaurant with erotic art on walls. I just leave immediately and im glad i did.
    3) Embrace boredom as an opportunity to self observation. It's always better to have something noble and meaningful to do. But don't be scared of boredom. You can just sit and meditate, think about your life or pray. You don't have to watch shitty tv shows, play dumb videogames or stuff. Do what you want to do, not just kill time.
    4) Make your life better. It helps me in a great way. I read books about relationships, about benefits of walking barefoot, about building career. When you learn something new and work on yourself, you dont need to fap.

So that's thinks that work for me. My worst struggle is triggers and temptations that attack me. On internet, on street in magazines... I dont allow myself only think about it i know my willpower is weak. A always discard them the moment i see them. Nice but in magazine? Close it. Dirty ad on internet? Shut down page imidiately.

    So thats what i do.

how u able to surf or use internet day by day and also social media.....

    1) I stay away from anything even potentionally harmful. No porn, no dating sites, no random surfing through YT.
    2) I try to stay focused. If i have work to do, i only do the work. If i want to use this forum i only use it. Make plan beforehand is always good strategy. I used to kill time on meme sites like 9gag or stuff. Man it was no better than porn. I scroll through it for hours and feel empty in the end. Interesting stuff i observed: The more time i spend there the less i laught at the jokes there.
    3) I use plugin for facebook that hide the news feed (Kill news feed) so i only see new massages and notifications (i also manage my notifications to see only stuff i care about).
    4) I would also consider some adBlock to get rid off potentialy triggering ads.

So conclusion: use it for your own good. Make plan what you need there (find something, reply emails, do some work, connect with friend) and stay away from anything else (scrolling through endless newsfeeds, random surfing on youtube or news servers).

Oh yeah. Its proven that social media can cause depressions. As porn steal real sex from us, social media can steal real relationships.

Thanks for the thread, its a good stuff.
