Erections to texts the same as erections to porn?

stop sex texting. It's not a real person in front of you. It's a screen.

Texting is direct interaction with someone. That probably makes it more arousing. I haven't watched Porn for a while, so I can't comment on that.

 

Yea, its probably not a good idea to keep sexting. You want to be resensitized to the real thing and though it seems a step up from porn images (since you are using your imagination to fantasize and since you are fantasizing about a real person-the person you are texting) it seems too similar (to porn) to warrent continuing.

When you are on a couch with your beloved, chances are they won't start talking like your sexting conversations (super pornographic, lewd, sexual, etc.) and you want to be able to become aroused from normal natural stimuli, not really over the top stuff.

I would say that sexting is a step up from pornographic images but its similar in that it is synthetic- it may be coming from a real person but it is not the real thing.
