ever since i started NoFap almost a year ago, sometimes on longer streaks and even short streaks i wake up in the middle of the night with sleep paralasis, which i never ever got in my 22 years of life, not only that, sometimes i wake up feeling i cant breathe, and then gasping for air heavily, and then panting heavily, it feels like my body releases so much cortisol its like im having a panic attack, it sometimes happens 5 times a night and i barely sleep and wake up like im wasted, its horrible.
the thing is, before starting nofap it never happened to me, no sleep paralasis or waking up feeling very stressed and panting for breathe

anyone with a same experience that can shead some knowladge?

See a doctor man. It could be NoFap or it could be something else.

Doctor will just write pills and that will be it. That's not dealing with the underlying problems. It's all in your mind. I think you should have a honest talk with yourself and try to become the best version of yourself. You can't cheat your mind man. I had the same problems as you in the past. My best bet is that your body has taken over your mind and you are no longer in control. I can go deeper into that topic if needed.

    I often have sleep paralasys.
Almost always does it happen when i sleep on my back. It's much better when i sleep on my side.
I believe it's very much related to stress and anxiety and such mental states.
Try to find the cause as to why your mind isn't at rest.

A sleep lab is your best bet. A healthy person does not wake up choking in the middle of the night, regardless of whether he masturbates.
