It's 3 A.M. I just finished mastrubating and I feel so disappointed at myself
I couldn't even hold on for more than 2 days
This happened again and again for the past 2 weeks the best streak i have held since 5 months ago is one week
I just reached a point where i don't really enjoy it anymore i just do it out of habbit i am not sure if this is a porn addiction i don't think it is since i don't prioritize pmo over anything but i can't get over the 2 days streak now and i don't know what to do
    I need to stop
Especially since the next month is going to be entirely about exams and all that
proplem is i don't know what to do
I can't go out of my house that much and most of the time i am either studying or messing around on my phone
That's why i am here to ask anyone who is reading this to give me useful advice that helped you before to get over this phase
Anything is appreciated i just need help
I know there is no easy way to stop but i just can't look at myself in the mirror and i feel ashamed when looking at any of my siblings or my mom
So i appreciate anyone who leaves advice I probably won't respond since i have to sleep right now so please excuse me and thank you
(And just to make sure i wanted to ask if knee pain can be caused by mastrubating)

I don't have a quick fix either, but I hope these two points make sense to you and help you.

    1. Shame is useless and very harmful to your recovery. Unfortunately it is very powerful, but since it is based on judgement and superficial judgement it needs to end. Keeping track of days is a measurement, you don't judge a thing for not being long enough after you use a ruler to measure it, if we did the same with this issue it would save a lot of unnecessary suffering for people. You work with what you have right now, later it may be different. If it's always about number of days in the streak then there's no self understanding.

    2. We need to look beyond our immediate concerns and issues. Yes you need to study, other people need to work and everything but there's a reason why this affects our mind, we're not going to get very far if we never find out what that is. For me, I didn't really connect the things I learn about psychology, self-help and spiritual stuff with this until later - but I did have to invest the time to read and learn about it. If you haven't then it's a good idea to start investigate this stuff.

Have you fight until the last second?
