everything is connected.

  1. One thing i realized while on my journey is that everything in your life is connected, one decision can change how everything else functions. For example when i drink my veggie smoothies and than drink green tea i would get a wonderful high, but that was only during my no pmo streaks, never once have i been able to get that high after i relapsed, but almost everytime when i have been abstaining. The same applies with reading, when something emotionally triggers me i get a flood of dopamine throughout my body, or just when listening to music, but never after i relapsed, or usually days within a relapse. I suppose it all has to do with dopamine, its crazy how porn takes so many wonderful natural highs and feelings away from you, that shit is not worth the chaos it brings and its pure garbage.

The less you experience on the inside the more you'll need externally.

The more you experience on the inside the less you'll need externally.

PMO attracts people who need more and more stimuli to jump start the emptiness they feel inside or to escape pain in a harmful way.

If you're able to go beyond that lower quality of life, you can begin to grow what's within you and you'll be able to have higher quality experiences.

But not many people will give up their short term need for instant gratification for the sake of long term delayed gratification. Mcdonalds rather than learning how to prepare healthy meals. Alcohol rather than meditation. Porn rather than developing social skills. Escapism rather than developing a better reality.
