    Hi first post here.
I found that after a period of at least 5 days of abstinence my posture is much better and my energy starts going up. I feel taller and more secure. Also I am funnier and less awkward in social interactions.
I also found some important drawbacks. I am eating more, my weight is going up and I have no time for exercise, and the most important part: I loose focus when it comes to studying. I have never had problems with concentration, focusing or learning. I am finishing a career in engineering and I've been in a full time job since i finished High school (it is very strange for my friends).
I think fapping is for me the same as cigarettes for a ballerina, a way to deal with stress. I want to have the benefits (not feeling socially awkward is new for me and I would love to have a GF), but my career is also very important and fapping is always at hand's reach. Did someone else experienced this drawbacks? How do you deal with those?

Abstract: NoFap is great, I want to continue, but has a lot of stress and fapping helps me focusing with college. Also eating too much, same reasons. Need Advice. NoFap is awesome.

    Hey there!
Fapping or PMO is like any other addiction. When you quit you'll most definitely experience withdrawal symptoms. It will be hard in the beginning, and it will be hard to focus on things etc. Eventually it will get easier. I've quit smoking 3 months ago and felt similar withdrawal symptoms to NoFap. That said, I found quitting smoking way easier than quitting PMO.
Just hang in there and it will get better. You'll be able to focus a lot easier in the future and will have more time to develop your work skills and your social skills will drastically improve (which will help you find a GF). ;)
Make sure to read a lot on P addiction and what it does to your health, that way you'll understand what you're going through better. The "MyBrainOnPorn" is a good resource for that, with articles and videos.

    Good luck buddy!

Thank you for the quick response Nerdman. I expressed myself poorly now that I reread my post.
I had a first noFap streak of 40 days, read all the "YourBrainOnPorn", I think it is very accurate. After those 40 days I've been with a girl(first time, and no performance issues), after that relapsed a couple of times and then had other streak of 30 days. Now I am having streaks of a week or so, thats how I know that the benefits start from day 5 on and get better as you don't relapse. I am also having issues to start again with a new streak (the first one was the longest, I guess now I have more sensitivity to triggers).

I know what you mean. The stresses of college are what made me PMO so much in the first place. It wasn't until after graduation that I started NoFap. But don't worry. The first week is the hardest. You'll get your focus back soon when your mind adjusts to a new normal. Maybe using the Pomodoro Technique would be effective?

    Hey nonphotochemically!
Sorry for miss-understanding your post. I'm on the same boat as you though, now that you mention it. My first streak was 90 days, then I relapsed and the distances between relapses have been getting shorter. I'm setting myself small goals of 30 days. But I feel you pain. I'm more prone to triggers in a way and it's really bugging me. I was so determined the first time around and now it's a lot harder.
