Favorite porn scene craving

Discussion in 'Porn Addiction' started by A_glass1900, Aug 31, 2019.

  1. All the time. These are the hardest moments (and when I see a hot woman in the street that is just the type I like). But my rule is clear: as soon as I type in some URL with the purpose of seeing porn, I consider it a relapse and would have to reset my counter. So far I did not execute this idea.
You always know when you have some excuse to search for something, knowing exactly that among the results will be some porn picture or video, you know it, don't lie to yourself.
So, you're not alone. When this happens, don't let yourself go in fantasies, let this image in your head go and refocus on what you were doing.

I literally only have one scene, or at least one pornstar in mind when urges come.

  3. yes, only one pornstar. And I sometimes miss her. I wonder what she is doing. I felt emotions while watching her, almost like love. It is strange, I don't have trouble to let go porn, I have trouble to let her go.
She is beautiful and it was sad to see what was happening to her, how the male pornstars treated her without respect and the esteem that she deserved in my eyes.
They clearly did not treat her like someone who is absolute special, a queen. They even disrespected her.
I sometimes dreamed about meeting her and saving her and having a life together.

But thanks to NoFap I have learned that this is all an illusion.

Its like she taunts me. She pops up in my head hundreds of times per day. Mocking me. She's like you know you want it. Come get it. And I have to keep saying no.

  6. But the truth is: she does not know you, she is doing this for money, she has probably no pleasure at all in doing that. She is a normal woman that you would not recognize in the real life. It is just acting, the person you think about does not exist.
The actress might be drugged so she can do all these scenes and artificial, maybe artificial boobs and so on. Her scenes are cut together and improved with photoshop and the proper light so you don't see that she has flaws.
    It's an illusion.

I saw once an interview with my actress on youtube. It was ridiculous. She was smiling artificially, trying to look joyful. It's a facade.

This is one of the hardest pars about quitting porn. A certain video or actress gets stuck in your head and it just. Won't. Let. Go. I'm dealing with this right now. One of my favourite actresses in one of my favourite scenes has been bugging me for the past few days. The feeling it gives is that it will always bug me until I give into it. :(

Yep. I can relate to this. I think it is because, buried under our lust, is a desire to have a real relationship. The flipside of this is that the attraction I can feel towards a porn star is often what snaps me out of the spell. When I see the way she is being treated, it can give me fuel for wanting to quit.

As a lot of people have said, this is a classic obstacle when trying to stop porn. You think that it's OK to watch the scene because you're not pursuing that 'novelty' thing people talk about; you're just watching that one scene (or a group of scenes). You think it's OK to watch the scene because it's not violent or causing you to develop a harmful fetish. You think it's OK to watch it because by watching it over and over again you will get bored eventually and that's good. You think it's OK to watch because you are not spending hours watching porn; you're just watching a few mins of this one scene and that can't possibly damage you. The two biggest challenges I've faced are these justification thought processes surrounding favourite scenes and also the inability to see beyond an urge - to know it will go away eventually.

  9. I must admit we sound like gambling addicts, always searching again for feeling they got from the first time they won.
Or drug addicts always looking for again for the euphoric rush.
I have read more about addictions since coming to nofap and it has increased my sympathy for the addicts I see on the street everyday. At least I still have my health, family, and a job.

  10. I think, I was just looking for happiness. Easy happiness. And for love, after being rejected by real women. That actress was always there. She did not judge, she did not reject. She was always joyful and playful and beautiful.
Why struggle with some real life girl that doesn't even look as good as this actress?
    Easy way, easy exit.
I am happy I quit, I see positive change, but it is hard. But I know that it will make my family and my life so much better. And I want to be there for my wife. I can't be there for my wife when I masturbate at night to Porn while she is sleeping. I don't want to be like that... but it is hard.

    Hi Vendettana

I read what you wrote up there and it is pretty concerning. Do you have any hobbies or family/friends in your life?

  13. Hey, I got married in May this year (I'm 38). And my wife is living abroad and my family dismissed me because of my wife.
Currently I am alone looking for new jobs so she can join me.
Hobbies: I work out and I am learning some python so I am more attractive to employers.

okay. it seems as if you have a goal to aim for and the need for porno should be not so bad. it also seems things with your wife are good if not your family.

any chance your family may come around?

it certainly seems you are not in an ideal spot which could lead to some weaknesses.

    wish you well

Yes yes and yes, certain scenes do come back and pop into your mind, hell even when im reading something or playing at times.
And unfortunatly it was the cause for my latest relapse.

Best thing is not to give in to it, but it can be one of those things thats easier said than done.

I use to feel that when past over few days without PMO´ing, but what I do to keep me away from masturbing is keeping my mind busy, really busy, a mean activities that keeps your attention caughted, for example:

    *Reading a very good book.

    *Going to the GYM.

*Learning something new about your hobie (mine´s guitar).

*Or just taking care of yourself (making sure that you look fine).

The key is activities that you really like, because if you choice something that you hate or just something that you don't want to do, your brain will start to think in ways to relieve yourself and one of that ways are this porn scenes that use to drive you to PMO´ing.

There's one particular P star whose face keeps appearing in my thoughts.
    Nothing sexual, not even naked.
It's like I'm pining for a lost girlfriend

  18. I hear you and am often going through this.
It's worth noting that whether in pics or videos, the girl is looking at the camera, as if into the viewer's eyes. It is a big part of the selling of porn. Even a lot of old paintings which contained nudes have, guess what? The naked woman looking not at the person with her, but at the viewer. Oldest trick in the book, but still works.
    We can fight it.

Yea, I have a couple of scenes and actresses that seem etched into my memory.

One small exercise I do when this happens, I sit down in a chair and close my eyes. I either count to ten, or ask, "God, I don't know why I'm having these thoughts, but please take them away for me." and that helps. This helps takes the edge off and restore my mental clarity.

  20. Interesting, when I work out, I get more optimistic, but sometimes also more horny.
