Finally taking my own Advice

For as long as I have been posting on this site I have been telling people who are really struggling with pornography to start attending SAA meetings. Having attended a few in the past I know they can be really beneficial especially if you cannot afford or do not have access to one on one counseling. But I was never consistent with attending meetings. So after having yet another multi-day relapse I decided I had to do something. So I decided to attend a meeting every day this week. Fortunately it has never been easier to attend. Because of covid all the meetings in my area have all moved online. So I can attend from my couch. I was anxious and scared to jump back in at first but the people in the meetings are awesome. So welcoming and caring. It feels incredible to connect with other addicts and not feel so alone in my addiction. I am now going to find a sponsor and work the twelve steps. I can’t recommend this enough. It’s never been easier to jump in. Meetings are happening everywhere. Just visit SAA.org. Just wanted to share this with all y’all. God Bless.
