    Hi,

I have tried for so long to get to this point and am finally starting to feel confident that I might for once be making progress and turning my life in the right direction.

For over 20 years I have led a life of sexual compulsion, starting early (the 1990s) with magazines and graduating to dial-up internet before the age of high speed internet and phone access made the addiction all the more easier.

It has led me to frequent strip clubs, massage parlors, sex parties and the services of escorts.

At times i felt that I was living the perfect male life, numerous women, parties all the time, sex, drugs & rock 'n' roll!!!

But it soon started to eat away at me, it affected who I was as a person and I began to feel like I was losing my soul. I was depressed after every experience yet I still returned to them as they were the only comfort I knew.

It has been a significant part of more than half my life and it was only getting worse. I was in a relationship that truly made me happy but I could not escape the addictions I suffered.

Eventually it became to obvious and my partner called me on the changes she had seen in me. I decided I needed to come clean and face up to the person I had become.

I have now been 70 days without PMO (I also removed alcohol and drugs) and I am not going to lie it has not been easy (anxiety, stress, thoughts of acting out). I feel I am in a long flatline stage right now but have the support and desire now to push through.

I am still in the early stages but I am hopefully change and progress is on the horizon.

I would love to hear advice from any members on how I can use this group and the forums best for support.

    Thank you
