Hi all,

i am new to posting on these forums.

i am 37 years old.

and i have struggled w/ this addiction for over half my life.

i have a lot to say but i don't want to say it all now.

but i do believe i can beat this, and i believe the same for everyone else.

Welcome to the forum - from one 37 year old to another. You are in a good space where people will listen and support, whenever you are ready to share. Shout if you need anything.
 
thanks guys, i am appreciating all this support and the welcoming spirit. it definitely adds wind to my sails. @Reclamations good call on the journalling. It's definitely a core part of my routine and really helped me over the years to unpack the madness that i felt my addiction drove me into. @Warren of fleabags 500+ days? dude -- you are a champ! thank you for setting the bar high! i am gonna aim for that!
