    Hey there Fapstronauts,

I'm beginning my first official reboot with the help of this website and the NoFap community. The goal is 30 days without any intentional viewing of P. I have not yet decided on my goals for M and I will not be abstaining from O as I feel the love of my partner is the main thing that has kept me from completely falling back into my addiction so far. I would really like to start my counter and fight this battle with the help of anyone who is willing to drop a like or a comment whether it is healthy criticism or motivational or even just sharing their own experiences, triumphs or troubles.

    Cheers guys!

I agree 100%. I tried quitting smoking about a dozen times and finally succeeded, and that's a habit I'd only had for 6 years! I've been PMO'ing for over a decade now - I've stopped counting the attempts.

I also just started posting on here, and so far I've been really impressed with the community's supportiveness. I've never felt this positive about a reboot before! Getting support really does seem to be the way to go.

Thanks heaps dude! I know I can do better than this.
I relapsed again just before I set my counter, to cheat one in like that and completely disregard everything I've been telling myself today is so bizzare.

Thanks for commenting! :) and congratulations on quitting smoking! Here's to a higher quality of life.

I'm watching a really interesting video in which a leading psychiatrist and neuroscience researcher talks about how to 're-wire' the brain -- to understand and fight addiction. . I found it on a thread posted by 'warriorofthelight70', who has some other great insights if you guys haven't seen his profile already. I thought it was worth a share.
