First week

So I know success stories are supposed to be 30+ days.

And I know 7 days isn't much.

But I think for people starting off the journey it can be good to hear what the initial week is like. 30+ days can seem like forever when you are on day 1.

So I just finished 7 days PMO free.

How i feel:

• More energy since I have slept more rather than staying up late due to PMO
• Healthy since I have focused on working out hard and trying to eat ok
• Tried to get 8+ hours of sleep every night which is a game changer
• Confidence: Though it's early, would say I feel more confident and happy about myself due to this initial ability to push to 7 days and start to feel, at least a little bit, that I am in control of my own actions

Recommendations:

• Exercise. Wether it's walking, running, gym, a sport. But it's a great way to 1) stay out of your home and not be in front of a screen all the time and 2) get some endorphine release without PMO. And you'll probably feel healthier and happier in general
• Sleep: I've slept too little from as far as I can remember. Now this last week I've tried to get 8 hours a night. I haven't succeeded every night but man does it help with everything to feel more rested
• Join the group @Kratos_GOW has set up to keep motivated with others. Helps with the daily checking in and the accountability

Tip on how to motivate yourself:
Be f*cking pissed off at the industry that thrives and monetizes on your addiction and your misery. Do not just see it as a good thing to quit PMO. See this fight as a war against a billion dollar industry that capitalizes on your addiction and fight it with everything you've got to prove that the actresses and actors you typically watch no longer have control over you. At least that has helped me.
