Did you edge or relapse once during those 400 days ?
Try multivitamines i tried them it helped with brain fog!
Also try cold showers it helped too
I relapsed today and back on day 1. I was at a 90+ days streak and was in a COMPLETE flatline dead dick and no libido since day 1. The relapses were a waste and I did not even had an urge. I got frustrated from not seeing any progress. From what I’ve read on here, people like us need hardmode for at a long time, probably like a year or two. I’ve also had brain fog for years too, due to probably already being in withdrawal. I just feel like I’ve damaged myself from this addiction to the point i wont recover. I hope there is hope for us even if it takes a while to recover because I dont wanna live like this forever. We need to do this once for all, otherwise we will be stuck forever in this awful state. I’ve been in that state you desceibed with the symptoms for years because i never did a proper reboot. Do you experience anhedonia, fatigue, insomnia, and restlessness? I’ve noticed this too during flatline.
I get this too, during flatline.
Same with me. I believe it depends on the severity of brain damage. The brain chemistry imbalance wreaks havoc on us and not sure how long it takes to reach homeostasis in users who are severe cases. But many have healed after years of continuous absitence.
It depends on when you started and how long you did and when did you stop after having the symptoms. In my case, I stopped after 7-8years of my first sign of pe and pied. I jus couldn't connect the dots. So in my case, I jus feel it would take the most amount of time to recover. And I have to go through paws until then. 7 months and counting and not much difference.
I also get frustrated not being able to see any progress with the flatline, this is the hardest part. It would be easier if we could detect some kind of progress. You are not alone, i think there are many long rebooters out there, but in silence.
My symptoms are :
- No libido ( i have no sexual perception or desire, feel asexual )
- Genital numbness and shrinkage ( less blood flow to penis, skin color changed )
- Anhedonia / Emotional numbness
- Low motivation
- Brain fog
It's funny, when i quit smoking, i had acute withdrawal. With porn, no...only PAWS.
Any morning wood?
do i have to relapse if i reach 3 months ?
No, not yet.
so nofap doesn't help ???
On the contrary, the flatline is the best sign that the reboot is happening in the brain. In my case, a long flatline.
Have you spoken to a urologist about your skin color in your penis? That's a bit concerning...
No, i have not. The change of color is also a FLATLINE symptom, due to lack of blood flow, as the numbness. Gabe Deem made a youtube video ( Reboot Nation ) that speaks of this, there are many guys with this symptom. During the FLATLINE something is happening with the link between the brain and genitals.
Besides, this only happened once i quit PMO and began NOFAP. It is no coincidence.
I’m going through a long flatline aswell. Currently on month 6, I wake up some days with a weak morning wood, did you experience this at all during your reboot ?
No morning wood for me, yet. I think you are making progress. Perhaps you will have a shorter FLATLINE.
What do you do beyond abstinence to ease the flatline? I heard that exercising the body is good. Maybe some foods and suplements that increases testosterone can help and maybe meditation.
In the beggining everything seems to not having effect in genital numbness, but for the mind it worked for me. I feel lot better improving my diet and exercising. I have never reached abstinence beyond 1 month, but with 1 month i started having erections when waking up it made me happy, but then I fell off and broke the abstinence.
Don't give up you reached a level that I never imagined I could reach.
did you have wet dreams on flatline ???
Try a hardmode of 90+ days, but practice sports everyday. At least 100 pushups and 100 squats. I bet that after 60 days or so you'll start having MW doing so.
I've been in this journey for the past 4 years man, I understand what you are going through. I started no PMO in 2016. I had flatline for 6 months straight. Since then I have been relapsing all the time. I later decided to go to a psychologist because I could not take the withdrawals. I started taking antidepressants in 2018 to ease the withdrawals. The flatline can take years man, it is hectic, because I started with this addiction when I was 8, I'm now 29. It will take years for me to get out of the flatline stage
