Well it’s start of day 30 and I read an intesting post on “retrain your brain” It set off a little ahha moment for me. I realize now I may have been flatlining for months if not years. I could look at all the porn I could find and it did nothing for me anymore. I dident really enjoy it and I could never get a hard on just some sort of floppy thing. I would do it anyway even if at times it would take 40 minutes. I could see an attractive women and there would be some sort of response somewhere in my brain but that’s it. It was like deep in my brain there was a reaction but it never got anywhere. As I am 60 this month and on antidepressants when I spoke to my doctor he would just say “It’s the medications” or “It’s your age” I had all kinds of blood tests and checked my testosterone multiple times and it was always “normal” for my age. I am relatively fit and not overweight. It was never mentioned once by my doctor that I could have a porn addiction. He never asked about my sex life of if I masturbated every day etc... it seems to me that even with all the information I found about the way your brain is changed with a porn addiction my doctor was completely unaware? I find him a good knowledgeable doctor in other aspects of my health as he has helped me through anxiety and depression.
So I seem too of found the cause of my problem but how long does it take to get past this stage? Anyone else had this issue for years?

I thin that doctor and psychologist are totally unaware of the porn problem. They're totally unaware of the implications, the big physical and psychological health problems it has on people, and worst, they're not even aware that porn is a problem.
