For how long & How did your " FLATLINE " end ?

my flatline was always never ending when i was smoking weed regularly. i usually felt the worst flatline symptoms for 4 days. but when i was smoking weed i could feel like crap for a 3 weeks straight. i think you should seek for a different reasons your flatline is so long. it could be too much or too little sleep, bad internet habits or substance usage.

also my flatline ended suddenly when i woke up and felt like a million bucks
and my libido was back also

My therapist said with each small relapse you basically put yourself back 2 months . But you obviously still have your need for porn 3 x 4 months streaks and still go back to it ? Why ? Do you do meditation and exercise ? You have to change your life dramatically to fill the holes left by porn . I’ve been a porn addict for 20+ years and I’m on 160 day streak , flatlining like a person . But I’ve started marathon training , got into photography, journaling , meditation , all of the good stuff . My brain sometimes feels like it’s performing surgery on itself lol , but I’m trying to stay positive as best I can and embrace the flatline syptmoms because it means it’s working, instead of dredding it . Apparently it takes 14 months for healthy dopamine levels to return to an addicts brain , so I got 1 year to go roughly . 20 months of this I feel for ya bro but maybe analyse the rest of your life , what does your standard week look like ? You gotta do everything u possibly can to assist your brain in recovery .

I agree with you now . That is speculation that’s literally just a number pulled out of her ass but she meant well haha . Yeah man I have the exact some stuff , feels my dick is about as useful as an ear lobe atm haha no libido at all . But best we can do is do all healthy things just to keep our heads above water until we get some relief and eventually recover . I’m at 172 now and I’ve done everything right but now it’s getting dangerous because it’s taking so long and I can’t help but feel will this ever end and need some relief , brains trying to play tricks . But I’m very aware of it and doing the best I can . Just gotta keep going day by day .

 

Yeah bro this is something to be proud of. I would definitely look for other causes of this shit bc this is pretty long. That being said, I went for 4 months straight and felt just as bad on day 116 as day 45

 

You haven't noticed any mental/physical improvements since stopping PMO for 4 months?

 

I felt completely rewire after like 70 days too so i wonder if there was something else going on. Idk, mental health has just been a constant battle for me

 

So no mental health improvements? Damn. I hope I can improve and that it's not BS.

 

I’ve seen some improvements off and on but depression and anxiety has been an ongoing struggle for the last 6 months

 

Libido came back for me after two months. One day I woke up and libido was slightly there(like 20%), the following day it was 40% and so on until it was back fully. I relapsed though and it went away again. I'm now a month in but feel like it's going to take longer this time.

 

Did you flatline after your relapse?

 

More or less, I still had a small feeling of libido left but not much. I ended up relapsing like five times though and that totally killed it.

 

I see. Happened to me. I flatlined after I relapsed. No libido after that and my dick shriveled up after that.
