Forget about counting days

    The more you pay attention to quit P the harder it gets to stay reeboting. Set your app timer and forget to checking it every single day. You need to change this bad habit to something else.
    Stop thinking about the days. You just need to live your new lifestyle.

    Just live and don't forget to be thankful for your life. You need to think you already overcome this addiction. Imagine how good it will be.

    And remember there always will be a light in the end of the tunnel.

    I partially agree, my longest streaks have become such long streaka because of your strategy. But.... I failed still, because I let my guard down.

    Some people (like me) are so deeply addicted that they actively have to counter it; the triggers, the urges, the emotional/physical withdrawal. We have to keep studying about the negative effects of PMO and actively change our thoughtpatterns when encountering triggers. We can't just simply forget..

    I have looked at images this week but not fully relapsed. I continue on my streak of no MO and I know I am still healing in many ways. I am positive I will remove porn for good.

    I check in every day to write a journal. Have I exercised yesterday, eat well, sleep enough, been social enough? It's a tool to I keep myself accountable. No bullshit, just hard measurable facts. If I want to radically change my lifestyle, I have to force myself out of my comfort zone to face my fears and do uncomfortable things I want to escape from. There's no better way to measure your progress than writing an honest journal, where you write down the good, the bad and the ugly things and emotions you're going through. Just setting a counter and forgetting about it is not enough. We need to change the way we live. This change can come by doing small steps in the right direction. These small steps become big lifestyle changes when you summarize them together. Keeping ourselves accountable every single day is the most important thing we can easily do to keep "walking" on recovery path. It also helps us stay humble by seeing mistakes we still make on daily basis, showing us with brutal honesty where we're constantly failing and need to work on improving the most.
