hey everyone.
I've been away for quite a while but now I'm back and would like to share my thoughts.
the first lesson I've learnt recently is that you should never ever keep on fapping when you relapse.you should get back on track and reset your counter as soon as possible.that was my mistake and I don't want anyone else to make it like I did.when you relapse just make sure you start your new abstinence as soon as possible.
OK let's talk about something that I am actually writing this for. I've been going to gym for almost a year now.Let's say that I used to be too skinny and the reason I started lifting weights was because I wanted to put on some weight.My BMI got in normal range(It's 19.2 now) and I am pretty satisfied with my progress.but the last 5 months was kinda tough for me.I didn't gain any muscle mass for the duration and I felt I hit the rock bottom(back then I was fapping like everyday like 2 to 3 times in on day sometimes...).I never thought frequent and excessive masturbation can ACTUALLY effect testosterone levels but it does.I read a lot of articles online about this and I realized I am just wasting my time in gym because fapping daily had decreased my testosterone levels in a noticeable way.when I started going to gym I wasn't this addicted to PMO and I would PMO like once a week.But then things got kind of though in my life and I started PMO like every day to shake the stress away.
I felt less strong in gym and I wasn't making any progress whatsoever.Then I realized what was wrong.
After reading a lot I realized that abstinence for one month can increase testosterone levels but sexual abstinence for too long (like 8 months or more) can have a negative impact on testosterone levels. Scientists have advised us to engage in sexual intercourse as a healthy way to release our sexual energy and stop masturbating excessively.If we don't have a partner then masturbating once a week should be OK.You can say that those researches were shit and masturbating daily is fine.Well go ahead and do it.but we all know too much of something good always turns bad and we all know how we feel when we masturbate excessively. So let's stop lying to ourselves and accept the truth that a successful guy wouldn't fapp like everyday.You can't imagine yourself as a strong and wealthy healthy guy who masturbates? can u?
I intend to start 90 day hard mode and I am already on day 4.I think that is a great way to leave this addiction.Specially when the creators of this community advise us to do so.
