Hello,
I am a 20 year old male living in Texas. I have been on NoFap since late September. I've had some bumps in the road along the way, where I quit the day counter for edging, but I have not O'd voluntarily in quite a while. I have never made it this far on NoFap before.
I have never been in a relationship, or had sex before. I don't really intend to either, nor do I care to (although yes, I understand the advantages of a relationship).
Over the past two months, I have begun helping out at my local volunteer fire department, meeting new people and learning a lot of new, useful info. I've been feeling a lot better recently, especially while I am there. I attribute NoFap as a major contributor to that: specifically in regard to not ejaculating.
Unfortunately, four days ago on Thursday, when I returned home from school in the afternoon, I was tired and hungry, so I ate some food and then took a nap. When I awoke, I discovered that I had a wet dream- which had not happened since January/February. I went back to sleep again, and had another wet dream. I was quite angry at myself.
I also awoke to a wet dream on Friday morning, Saturday morning but yesterday morning, all was clear. However, this morning, I awoke to yet another wet dream.
I'm beginning to grow very concerned at these wet dreams. I want them to stop because I feel like they are draining my life force energy and I definitely do not feel the same after they happen. I feel weaker compared to previously when I did not have wet dreams for a while.
I've noticed that previously, the wet dreams usually happen when I go to sleep, wake up too early and then go back to sleep. When I would awake for the second time, I would have had a wet dream. However, this wasn't the case on Friday morning, Saturday morning or this morning.
Also, last night when I returned home from the volunteer fire department, I anticipated a wet dream the following morning. In order to prevent this, I took a cold shower for two minutes or so and then I went on a long walk around where I live. Still, however, I had a wet dream.
I also quit video games in March, and I am in the process of quitting sugar. I have to say that they were easier than I thought, most likely because of NoFap. (I recommend it!) Could the lack of dopamine from those be contributing factors to the wet dreams?
I want these wet dreams to stop, or at least be very infrequent, as I'm trying to preserve my semen as I am on NoFap "monk mode".
Is there any reason why I keep having wet dreams this week?
If so, how can I stop the wet dreams?
Thank you. I appreciate any help.
