Friend’s Wedding Coming Up

I say don't let go the opportunity. A relationship helps in recovery, or at least meeting new people from the opposite sex that is relaxing, even if you just talk to the girls, no pressure.

 

If you are in recovery.. then you are probably with issues. The only woman that are going to like you are, woman with issues. Wait until you are in a good place and you are going to attract woman in a good places too. Starting a relationship were you have issues and your partner also have issues, is only going to make her problems yours. Go and share your happines to the other person and she is going to share hers to you.

You can go an have fun in the weeding, get introduced to woman and maby date them, but just do it to have fun. Wait to get your shit together until you start thinking about a relatioship.

 

You should go! Meet the LADIEEES and have fun. Maybe one of them is what you looking for.

 

If it were me, I would be open to meeting someone. In my past anytime I have been in a relationship i could turn off my addiction to porn. I would also say approach it with the attitude of just having fun. I used to tell my one friend all the time, don't worry about long term relationship at the beginning, just have fun. And if it's meant to be, you'll be in that long term relationship without even realizing it.

 

I would say, go forth and make new friends. you are in a better position today than yesterday because you are NoFap. And you will be much much better on the day of the wedding. And use this as a motivation to stay clean and maintain the streak. Use anything you need to keep your noFap motivation going.

Caution: Don't have too many expectations. If you do, then it will be broken. You will come home sad and depressed. And you will put yourself in situation where you might relapse. So hold your emotional guard up. Stay strong.

When I thought that I'd never overcome my addiction, I began to refuse live communication with girls. I didn't stay late for work. One of my colleagues constantly asked me to have coffee with her on a break, but I refused. You can't imagine how hard it was for me to restrain myself and not go to the toilet. And one day I had to go to a friend's wedding. I couldn't refuse him. There were a lot of girls in sexy dresses. And you know! There were so many of them that my eyes didn't stop at one. Besides, I bought myself a suit from Gentleman's Guru and didn't want to ruin it that evening. I was able to restrain myself. In the morning, I couldn't remember a single girl, not a single dress. Although now I'm afraid that I replaced one addiction with another and got terribly drunk..
