Yeah, just recently rewatched the first movie.
Frodo's a very brave hobbit.

 

make sure to watch the extended editions they add hours to the movies

 

Samwise Gamgee IS a bloody badass, who carried Mister Frodo all the way up the mountain, or fought Shelob on with nothing but his wits? For me he gets far less credit than he deserves, not only did he save Frodo multiple times but he figuratively and literally carried him all through out the journey.

I do not understand why absolutely everyone thinks Frodo is so weak?

 

If Frodo is weak, what epithet should be applied to Boromir, who did not even touch the Ring but broke down halfway? What then to say about Gandalf, Aragorn, Galadriel, who were afraid even to handle it? ? ? and what will you say about Sam, whom it began to break after only a few hours, so that he then barely returned it to its master? Who would you trust the Ring to but him? It was up to Frodo whether he was willing to shoulder the burden or run away... if he had chosen the latter, that would have been the end of the world.
