game of thrones is on tonight and I plan on watching it. There is usually nudity in it but I watch it with other people so I feel I won't get any urges. Is it OK to watch even tho I know there will be partial nudity?

I have only seen the statistics and descriptions from GoT, but it seems they feature a lot of nudity. That would likely still constitute P to your brain. Having talked to porn recovery speakers who have seen GoT, even they recommend avoiding it.

    You can't hide forever.

you see boobies in game of thrones, sure but to me no it's not porn. i dont get any kind of rush off it, and just look a their faces if it bothers you.

I mean it depends HOW bad you are i guess but i don't think its a "must avoid" by any means

Yes, you cannot hide forever but we also have to be careful with the things we watch because it could still have an impact. You might watch it with others but when you're finally alone, you might remember the things you've seen.

Watch it at your own risk. If you feel that you aren't strong enough then don't but it depends if you can deal with it later. However, I personally don't recommend watching it.

I have masterbated many times to GOT so I recommend not to watch during atleast first few weeks. But if you think you can deal with it, then suit yerself brah!

I watch GOT as well, and certainly feel excited when I see the boobies. I have friends that don't drink and hangout in bars, kind of the same thing IMO. You can always turn off the TV during those scenes, or distract yourself until they pass.

I agree with Panda though, watch at your own risk.... if you think watching will trigger an urge you can't resist, it might be best for you to avoid until you think you can control yourself. I think if you're in the beginning of your reboot, it's probably best to avoid until you are at least a few weeks into no P.

I used to watch shows with sex scenes after 90 days, just a little way we lie to ourselves. Well looking back it was a big lie for me, as that was the only reason I would watch some of these shows on 'premium' channels.

I don't mean to sound like a dickface but guard your eyes.

There is a difference between "hiding" and not ingesting sexualized media when it's fine to choose that. It's not like you are locking yourself inside to avoid seeing beautiful females in public, that would be an example of hiding.

Well said, Planet! If you're watching GOT for the boobies, or feel like it's going to cause a relapse... avoid. If you're within the first few days/weeks into reboot, the last thing you want to do is watch anything P related.

I agree with your principle. That being said, I think GoT pushes the limit between artful nude, and censored porn scene. Your mileage may vary.
