I hope it did not come out wrong. Certainly, do not want to cast the first stone. Am as guilty as anyone. I lost a close cousin who died at age 29 of HIV because of proposition. Although she was free to choose her lifestyle, none of us in the family was proud of that lifestyle and I don't think any family would. Still have another cousin in the trade, unfortunately. Yes I did pay 40 for the lap dance. And I was there by myself so no friend could have paid. She started making out with me during the dance and gave me her number after and said she really liked me and wanted to get together after work and just hang out, not have sex.

well we did and we started drinking a little and we ended up having sex lol. she's texted me a couple times since but I'm in no place to be dating a stripper lol. Also I have no Gf right now.

nothing to be proud of, just clarifying. the point of my post anyways was thatthe sex with the stripper did nothing to fulfill me, just made me feel shame and guilt.

I too, having no gf, sometimes contemplate of going down that path. I have even checked websites and gotten numbers of escorts. But something inside prevented from taking me further steps.I guess it was for the better.
I hope that this process of rebooting would eventually make our lives fulfilling so that we dont bother to think about these sort of traps.

Totally agree with previous comments answering your question Flipflops. I realize one of your sexual desires is being like a porn performer as most of us have thought sometime. The fact is that orgasm won't be great. The solitude sensation you'll feel after that doesn't compensate your effort or the money spent. The other thing you must think is that the girl you'll choose is moving her body for money, and even if she is stiff like a tree she will receive that money for her work. What I mean is that she won't effort to satisfy you because she's not being satisfied at the same time. Do not idealize it. You can try it but it's not a good reward for stop viewing porn.

This thread on this subject will never come to a consensus.

In a thread like this where we have people of different ages, experiences, social and economic backgrounds, from around the the world - talking about something as old (it is the oldest profession) and as prostitution with different kinds of escorts, brothels, street workers, junkie whores, just straight out workers, high class hookers.... there's even ones that will fulfill kinky desires - in some countries they are regulated and in good order - in others totally unregulated and terrible.

Generally speaking there is no answer to this.

and there's actually no right and no wrong.

the puritans that say 'no to prostitution it is evil, or it's soulless or whatever they want to say' are right when some guy is going to some junkie whore and it's just physical relief with the added complications of possible STDs.

For the occasional user who goes to clean professional places, where the girls are there because they want to be there... that's up to him and the escort.

And if she did and she clearly explained to me, that is her decision and she wants to do this, and she understands what she is doing. I would still not like it but I would have to accept it.

If there's money involved, its fake and fleeting. Porn and prostitution are the same in this regard.

Personally, I think this is different than one night stands. At least that girl is intersted in you and not your money, even if it is only for one night.

Ideally, one recurring sexual partner is the best, whether its romantic or not.

Don't use money, or pixels, for sex. Its unhealthy and it shows you're still a slave to the orgasm, especially if that's the only reason you're going clean.

Stay clean, and girls will be interested in you, and not your wallet.

Actually Brazilian_flipflops, the entire point of being human is controlling our biological impulses for good, not to simply be a pre-programmed robot that does whatever our DNA tells us to do. If we are to go from female to female looking for a different woman each day with the most outstanding sexual organs to put our genes into, what makes us any different than the unreasoning animals? Animals reproduce, move on and forget.

The beauty of being human is that we can go against our biological impulses to control ourselves and put our energy to work to accomplish great things during our lifetimes. We can maintain lifelong relationships based on the kind of selfless love that lasts forever. Don't throw your human existence away by following your animalistic tendencies, or your life will be as purposeless as the beasts of the field.
