Feeling the burn today. The sirens beckon. But I will not be dragged back down to those murky depths. Emerging from the darkness, I look to the awakening horizon. I see friends like me who have suffered but not given in. Who have been brainwashed but will no longer be coaxed. Together we stand. Together we journey onward to a new day with new possibilities. We are strangers, yet brothers in arms. Today, we fight.

    Hey Karan arya,

Don't feel bad. In my experience, guilt just perpetuates the addiction loop - it makes porn seem like something badass and therefore exciting. Inevitably, adrenaline will heighten arousal. It's a neurochemical thing.

Instead, you can be proud that you're making progress, and that you're one of the brave few with the guts to admit a setback (we all have 'em). Props to you for speaking up and keeping on. That shows real toughness!

I read about this exercise where you open a porn site for a few seconds, but then view it as silly and close the window, then do something completely different. You're literally retraining your brain and breaking that f*cking loop that keeps us all locked in. Maybe you can see if that works for you?

I'm on day 13, which is the longest I've ever been since I started using! I find the hard part is that without porn, I'm forced to confront the state of my marriage. It's extremely uncomfortable. Porn was my sweet escape and kept me numbed out. Without that escape, I feel like I'm under a dentist's lamp. The light of reality is raw, blindingly harsh, and absolutely merciless. It burns. But it is a purifying light.
