Notice every response except one to your question doesn't answer the question and instead focuses on the type of woman you like, as in "how fat are we talking" or "It's not healthy" or bring in horseshit like "from an evolutionary standpoint." We have a few self-appointed experts here.

Again proving my point that you are asking a bunch of people who may not be in a position to answer, or don't listen to the question, or answer something you haven't asked.

I don't think @greenishmoon is saying that your medical diagnosis is "crazy" or anything, just that it was uncalled for.

This guy was just asking if anyone else experienced this, not for evolutionary explanations as to why his friends are right. Sure, obesity isn't healthy, but neither is coming onto a thread to bring medical facts to prove to someone they shouldn't be attracted to them. There are way too many assumptions in doing that; does he want to change? Does he care? Does he want kids? etc.

 

I just want to clarify, my point was some people's definition of "fat" can still be healthy. Not, "only this body type is acceptable."

 

Here's the thing. For some of us beauty just block the real human aspects of a person.
I instantly click with girls who are not the ones with angelic beauty standards because you can more clearly see the person then their body.
This clearly explains @brassknucks 's intention to make his lady healthy , because once he has seen the true person without any beauty filters and admits her into his life , he can wish to make her a bit healthy because the former phase of choosing a person is over.

 

It's not your job to judge people's tastes or to judge other people's bodies. Many fat people have clinical eating disorders, such as food addictions. We are porn addicts, so we are not in a position to judge them.

Also, evolutionarily, being fat meant you had a higher chance of survival in times of malnutrition. In fact, being fat was considered a symbol of fertility in most Paleolithic cultures. If you don't believe me, look at some photos of the Venus of Hohle Fels and Venus of Willendorf sculptures (both of which allegedly represented goddesses of fertility).

Yeah, "allegedly." We don't know what those were supposed to represent. We just make up stories about what things are like that seagull from "The Little Mermaid."

Maybe larger body types were favored in the Paleolithic era and maybe not. In the end it doesn't really matter.

As a fit athletic guy, I like girls to match me. I think as a fat guy, u kind of have to accept that your girl may be like you and doesn't wanna rid herself of her weight. Lots of fat guys i know say they like fat chicks but I think its cuz deepdown they cant justify a relationship with a skinnier woman.

 

Women aren’t as forgiving about looks like how Men are. You see how many couples out there where the Man is fit or skinny and the woman is big? Yes there are lots of those and is common but the reverse situation is not as true, women are pretty brutal with their looks standards.

 

I like big girls too. I never used to at all – I'm pretty sure porn influenced my taste on this one. "PAWGs" and "Thicc" were often my keywords haha. It's all good man you like what you like; own it. If your friends laugh at you, laugh at them for something else.

 

I like bigger girls too. It’s normal. Having friends make fun of you can hurt your self esteem. Try not to take it too personal. Own it. Laugh with them if you can. Be tongue in cheek and c all yourself a chubby chaser. If they are true friends they’ll accept you for who you are.
