Feeling a lot of stress and headache because I am unable to do anything to my habit. I am unable fight my addiction. I have self harming thoughts and obsessive thought image like breaking my new smart phone that costs a lot . Ohh God..Please save me and our family.
Nothing works for me. No money to join any counselling program. No money to see a therapist. Trying to learn cognitive behavioural therapy but my mind doesn't want to stop overthinking . Porn has completely destroyed the decision power portion of my brain. I am unable to take any decision. I have deleted thousands of google accounts, failed in becoming a youtuber because I am unable to keep any google account with me. Failing in different bank exams because I am unable to concentrate on my studies. My brain only wants PMO. After ejaculation only shame and guilt.

No porn blocker, no website blocker, no ISP nothing worked for me. Porn has been so easy to access. It is very easy to put my hand inside my pants and start edging and fapping . From January I am watching Porn daily and doing masturbation 4 times a day. Everywhere there is a trigger. Fan is a trigger, the light has also been a trigger. I can't get rid of light.
I have two options
1. continue watching porn and masturbate until I die
2. Stop PMO right now and enjoy a happy life until I die.
It is hight time of do or die..

Would someone care to tell me what’s wrong with trying to tell someone else how to think? I see nothing wrong with the OP’s message. That’s what he believes. I personally know of individuals who overcame their addiction on the same premise. No I don’t think they are cured. I do think that there is tremendous value in falling back onto one’s faith if you have one. To say it is dangerous and very foolish is foolish not to mention a flagrant attack on their religious beliefs.

If the world revolved around nothing but our own experiences and what we have personally seen ourselves then why in the hell do we even bother to learn from anyone else’s? Yes people can defeat this thing. Cure? No. Complete remission? Absolutely yes. My husband and I don’t have to fight ours anymore. That’s just a personal experience. Nothing more. There is much more to experience than our own personal ones.

Incidentally telling someone how they should think or feel? That’s gaslighting!

 

So a 12 step group is a support group for people with addictions whether that means a person is addicted to alcohol, drugs, sex/porn, gambling, eating, or whatever. You join a group of people and you start working 12 steps to recovery, or fighting your addiction. Its absolutely free, but it does take a real commitment on your part to fight this addiction.
