I am 25 years old and my life has really been affected due to porn,I got my degree a year late after passing it with great difficulty. The struggle continued after to find a job...I am very slow on my job and it is a job which I didn't want to end up doing in the first place (again I had to compromise after my performance in job interviews took a hit due to brain fog)..I want to change my career and it kills me that I am not at my fittest best mentally .Does anybody else have problems at work due to brain fog?

I’ve had it for the last 10 years. It helps to just relax and take it slow.

No fapping helps eliminate brain fog. I'm also a firm believer in Qigong (a Chinese movement meditation practice). It's been a total game changer for me. Check out some of these videos, and see if it works for you. There are videos specifically focused on brain fog:

Yes. I had a fairly demanding job over the past year and I would often show up to work with brain fog. It was difficult because people started to treat me like a quirky man-child at times and I'd often have to over-compensate when my head was clear by being really laser-focussed and infallible. I remember arguing with a colleague over something mundane, trying to form a coherent argument but failing. It was quite exhausting over-compensating for myself.

Occasionally I'd M in the men's room (if it was a particularly hard day) and I'd be in a super-fog that afternoon, headphones blaring. Horrible, icky feeling afterwards. It was a trade-off for feeling numb from the pain within, the feeling of being a square peg.

Oh, and I second the benefits of Qi Gong.

Yes - I have same problem
    - Qi Gong , Meditation, sport are good helper
    - be carfull with coffee it increases the stress and fog gets worse. Get off that stuff, realy important
    - Motivation time managment and small steps done then walking around
    - Don't sit all day if you are in office
    - complaining addiction if you don't like you job you likly to bitch around about it - just don't you may not find super postiv stuff to say about it but don't be negativ , took long to see that it is draging you down, just ignore the temptation
    - Get sick leave to work on application for new job from time to time

Is there any major differences between this and Tai Chi?

depending on the application of Tai Chi - Tai Chi is a martial art it may not appear this way at first. But Qi Gong is used by martial arts ... but wehn trying to do healing with the life force Qi the controlling Qi flow by mind body - qi gong practices are more parctical as there intention is healing and connection with the life force primarly. Tai Chi has the martial art objective that may be in the way of the goal of the practitioner in way tai chi is special form of qi gong. But this is only my limited understanding of this topic. I find though this very intresting and can say many of the technques have helped me to calm down, too. And I commited to learn more thats why I am answering. But it all is bit esoteric of course ...
