Good stuff that has happened along the way

Whilst our addictions and the consequences of them make pretty grim reading, sometimes it's a good idea to feel positive about small things that have happened or stuff we've achieved along the way. Please tell me something positive that has come your way that abstaining has brought you.

Here's mine: Day six and I'm holding out for my first week of full-on, all-clean NoFap. I am dreading this last day because im at home, alone and mostly working on my computer - the same machine that has serviced my addiction for decades.

Despite going many months without marital sex, I wake and reach out to my OH. Naturally, im excited; it's morning and I've been on NoFap for almost a week. To my surprise, she reponds positively and we go on to enjoy some fabulous, early morning, eager sex. It puts a spring in my step and a smile on both our faces and I know it's going to get me through the next few days and well on my way to a second week sober.

It may be unconnected but Im going to say it's down to my change in attitude. Thanks NoFap - I'll take that.
