So guys I told my doctor about my heavy, heavy mdma abuse when I was 18 , I’m now 30. She said heavy MDMA abuse CAN cause long term adverse effects . I don’t know what to think right now. Maybe I’ll have low libido and “pied” forever . Maybe it’s not pied maybe it’s irreversible brain damage from drug abuse . I know I’m alwsys on here whining but I really don’t know what to think right now .

I'm really sorry to hear about that man, but I just want to say that there is always hope. A really good friend of mine smoked weed from the age of 12 and got addicted to MDMA at 16. At one point he was doing it almost every night and just sitting in his room listening to music. He's now 28 and he has fully recovered. He is not addicted to anything, is incredibly disciplined, and works on his passions all day.

Doing things like meditation, exercise, healthy diet, journaling, and all of these other self-improvement activities can help improve your brain health and help return you to normal. They will also help you recover from porn addiction. The brain is incredibly plastic and you can do a lot of healing.

    There is always hope!

Yes, and I have felt that too. I smoked a lot of weed, but only did MDMA a few times. For me, the emotional blunting was because of my addiction. I'm not a neurologist so I can't speak with anything resembling expertise, but I wouldn't be surprised if the addiction is prolonging recovery from what the MDMA may have done and is even causing it's own damage. Again, this doesn't mean it's permanent. The neurologist obviously can answer your questions better than I can. Keep in touch if you want, I'd love to hear what they say!

Yeah I will man . Even if I can’t get a referral my dad has Multiple Sclerosis and has a neurologist . Maybe I can get my dad to ask him if he can see me

I talked to my doctor he said I should see a urologist that he may have more suggestions for me . I have a urologist so that’s good. He said I can try a new antidepressant if I want . He said it’s hard to tell if this is permanent

5 years of self-discipline in meditation, excercise, healthy eating and a good supplement regimen (brain stimulants like vit b, fish oil, etc) will get you back on your feet. No damage from drug abuse is irreversuble, the brain is malleable for a reason.

Combine this with learning new skills, focusing on your passion/ work, doing fun activities and you will be okay!

I myself have abused every drug there is and was feeling like that aswell at a certain point so i speak from experience.

    Good luck!

Thanks man . Yeah I’m going to quit for good this time . Im sure after awhile of no porn and no M it should be easier . I’m going to see the neurologist still , even though it may be hard for them to find something .
