    Greetings

I came across this site by accident while surfing about effects of not ejaculating. I'm a married man in my 60's realizing that I spend most of my time living for porn and masturbating.

To complicate matters my porn interst is for men, triggered by abuse in my early teens. I suppose it would be easy to say I should just give in to my gay feelings however I wasn't always attracted to men. Prior to the abuse I was totally attracted to women and some of the best sex I've ever had has been with my wife.

It's crazy how you can keep a part of your life comparmentalized and then after decades realize just how much time and attention you're devoting to it. (POM)

I'm hopeful that a reboot will quench or at least reduce the SSA feelings that seem to dominate my mind. To tell you the truth, I'm very concerned about a 90 day commitment - I've never gone more that 5 or 6 days in my entire life without jerking off. (Probably why I have never had wet dreams either). SO - I am committed to making a 10 day pledge which I know I can keep and go from there.

I'm excited for the challenge and the journey.

    Welcome here!
Wow It's been long man...But rejoice as long as you are alive you can reboot : ) It will take some time since the long abuse.
Reboot is for mind and body so stop PMO and brainwash yourself reading about NoFap and healthy lifestyle.
Reboot but don't hate yourself or your dick, give yourself love : )
    Take care.

  4. Heyyy welcome to the NoFap forum : ) It's nice to see you here fighting the good fight alongside us!

    Here is just some advice:

First and foremost please take a look at each section in the forum, there might be something(s) you may find of big help to you. Feel free to post there :+)

Then secondly I just strongly advise you to be active on your profile(as there quite a few active people in the profile section). Please start by choosing an avatar and then make daily status posts to show you're active and needing support/encouragement. They've also got a neat little feature that shows freshly posted statuses for all users to see. People will find your profile and give you encouragement/support.

People (are beginning to) love communicating in the profile section..(it should be and is )mostly spportive talk but it doesn't hurt to deviate from supportive talk. It would be great to have you join in and support others in the threads, profiles, and journal, we could always use your help and in return you shall receive some as well!

Thirdly, You should also highly consider creating a public journal and write about your days in more depth for us members to follow along your journey and offer support to you by way of posting in your journal.

Last but not least: Good luck on your journey here, make sure to really give it a try with all your heart!

P.S. I hope you feel better soon!!
